The location from the unit to Gatlinburg isnt terrible and quite nice when you return from a busy day in the city. Being greeted by the creek, was nice upon every entry into this beautifully kept cabin. The pictures my family and I got on the porch and backyard area alone were plentiful, nevermind the mountain pictures we got from right outside the cabin. My family and I enjoyed the community amenities, such as the fire pit and rocking chairs. The unit in itself was clean and just the right size for my family. The bed was super comfortable. We did not use the sofa bed, but noticed one is available. There were a few cons noted, however, it was more or less the lack of lighting into the community- hard to see at night, and loss of power. None of these are the fault of the cabin owner. I had an issue arise and the customer service was on point. There were small things I noticed, but I didnt stay focused on those "dislikes"- you get what you look for. We werent letting small things ruin our moment. The unit had everything we needed for our 3 night stay and we enjoyed this unit. I will note, the parking was a little cumbersome on the little hill. Also, some of these cabins are duplexes, which makes Ivy's Cottage a nice option- we enjoy our own space. Check in was electronic and efficient and instructions were delivered via text at 4 pm.
