Could of been better

Checked into our first room and went to put clothes in dresser only to find food crumbs and wrappers on bottom of drawer. Fireplace also did not work. Pointed it out to staff and they did put us in the room next door. Only to find out later when walking into the bathroom in my socks to find out the toilet ? (I am assuming) was leaking somewhere in the back of it and of course my socks were wet by then.

This place is such a little gem! I’ve stayed here a few times now. Always clean, quiet, and comfortable. Convenient dining options and easy freeway access. Old motel revamped and nicely maintained. It’s obvious the owners take pride in the place which is a treat these days. Great value.

2nd stay here. We got the same room, #1. Beautiful. Only issue is the huge hole in the wall that was there the first time and covered with a trash bag is still there and still covered with a trash bag.

Bathroom towels had small holes and a couple stains; shower curtain had stains (not at water line) two hairs on sheets; small stains on sheets and pillowcases. Also one light was blinking so much we turned it off. Very well lit at night, and flower planters were very pretty and welcoming.

Girls getaway

Nice motel very close to the express way and downtown Canton. Had no issues checking in or checking out. Very clean and nicely upgraded in many areas. Price very reasonable. Felt comfortable traveling as mother/daughter combo

The mattress was old and the springs poked at you. I only stayed for about two hours because I couldn’t sleep due to the fact I was on the first floor and my windows didn’t lock. As a female staying alone that is unacceptable. I felt safer sleeping in my locked car in a parking lot.

I messaged property early with mobility issues. They not only didn’t respond , we had to use rickety stairs with a broken rail. Someone is going to get hurt. The light in bathroom flashed on and off like a strobe light. I also for the first time ever did not feel safe in a motel , just seemed shady around. All that aside, I was so impressed with who ever cleaned the room. It was spotless. Kudos to their house keepers and whoever maintains the outside. It looks very nice. Just too many issues and not ones that the lady at desk even seemed interested in hearing about.
