Love Gem Hacienda!

The check-in was very welcoming. We were greeted by Noa and he had drinks and nice food spread on the dining room buffet. The kitchen was fully supplied with lots of plates, silverware, etc. having 2 dishwashers was a bonus. The house was beautiful, the outside spaces were great. We recommend this place!

50th Birthday Celebration in Taos!

We had a group of 14 people (8 adults, 6 teenagers). Staying at Gem Hacienda allowed our group to gather in the living room, kitchen, dining room, outdoor dining room and fire pit areas with ease and plenty of space! The home is gorgeous and the suites were such a treat! The kids loved the bunk bed room, pool table, hot tub and fire pit! We had a little bit of slow communication with the hosts, but all turned out great in the end!

A Gem Indeed!

We had the absolute best time staying at Gem Hacienda! They truly thought of everything! Our trip started with a tour and a warm welcome thanks to Love Taos. The house was pristine and had so much to offer! Beautifully decorated! So spacious! Our group of 10 friends/coworkers on our annual ski trip took us to Taos for the first time! The house was just a few minutes to downtown and an easy drive to the mountain in the mornings. After a long day of skiing we enjoyed Apres ski back at the house in the hot tub, cooked dinner in the fully stocked chefs kitchen, and relaxed by the fire pit watching the stars at night. Every luxurious bedroom offered a private sitting area and bathroom. The hosts were easy to communicate with throughout our trip and checked in regularly to make sure all of our needs were met. If you ever find yourself in Taos, make sure to stay at this bougie Gem of a house! It will make for a memorable trip!

Best VRBO ever

Our family of 23 met from around the US to attend a family wedding nearby. From the moment we entered to a welcome snack and drink set up, we then received a tour of the amazing hacienda. There wasn't comfort that was missed. We loved having the space in our rooms that were beautifully decorated and the comfortable gathering spaces. We enjoyed it all, including the bonfire with smore's and the bocee ball court. Wish we could gather there every year.

We had a large family reunion at this property and it was great from start to finish. Check in was easy, the property managers made us feel very welcome and did above and beyond for our group the entire time we were there. If you’re looking for a bigger and very well kept property do yourself a favor and stay here. Again thank you to the property managers for all that was done for our group.

An Unforgettable Family Vacation at the Gem Hacienda - 5 Stars!

We recently stayed at the Gem Hacienda in Taos, NM, for a family vacation, and it was perfect. Our group of 17, including 11 adults and 6 kids (ages 1-8), found the house incredible and luxurious. With 9 spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, we had all the convenience and privacy we needed. The house features numerous sitting, dining, and lounging areas both inside and out. We loved the two outdoor fire pits, prefilled with wood, perfect for making s'mores with the kids. The hosts were outstanding, with excellent communication before, during, and after our stay. Stargazing at night was magical. A short walk took us to the river, where the hosts had set up a lovely seating area. The kids enjoyed watching prairie dogs in the field behind the house. The kitchen was huge, with two large refrigerators and several coffee machines. The hosts even left treats and gifts for us. This rental exceeded our expectations and made for an unforgettable family vacation. If I could, I’d give it 10 stars! Highly recommended for anyone seeking a luxurious and comfortable retreat in Taos. Thank you to the amazing hosts for making our stay so special!

Gem Hacienda - 2024 Taos ski trip

Selected Gem Hacienda for our 24th annual guys ski trip. We need anywhere from 8-15 beds each year and GH was one of the options in Taos. 5 minutes to the tiny center of town and 30 minutes to the mountain, it was a perfect place. The layout of the house is awesome, great kitchen to cook for way more than our party. Our concierge Kati was awesome. This is our 5th trip to Taos and easily the best house we've rented here and also fits in the top 3 best house's we've rented anywhere in the last 24 years!! Don't think twice about renting this place. It cannot let you down.
