We had an amazing stay and loved everything about the hotel! Everyone was so nice. The included breakfast where you get to order from a menu and get what you want hot and fresh was really lovely and fireplaces all over the lobby and restaurant. The main bar is under construction, but the smaller bar and dining room were just fine. There is a complementary Sherry happy hour every afternoon with some very good local cookies as well. We would definitely stay again. Absolutely loved it. The food at the restaurant is phenomenal. Get the Frito pie!!!!! I think it was the best thing I had other than the cesear salad and steaks we had at Dinner For Two. The hotel is perfect walking distance to everything.

The room was spotless, with friendly staff. And the complementary breakfast was worth it. I was expecting a buffet style, nope. You get to order fresh of their selected menu. Good food!

All staff were very accommodating. The building was very unique and comfortable, clean and welcoming. Bed was comfy and linens plush. Our only suggestion would be to have a microwave in a public location (possibly in near the lobby/dining area. Thank you for providing a very comfortable stay!

When we first arrived we were greeted by a helpful & friendly gentleman who instructed us where to check-in, park etc. The front office women were extremely kind. The breakfast was really enjoyable in a nice setting. The rooms & building were unique.

We enjoyed our stay at the governors. It is an old facility but has been kept up beautifully. The only complaint we had were the bathrooms. They were extremely small, but that is to be expected with the age of the property. I was very impressed with how clean the facility was considering the age. The breakfast was great and the restaurant was convenient with late night options. We enjoyed sitting around the pool sipping a cocktail while playing cards. Convenient to all the shops and restaurants…we walked everywhere

Best hotel location and value in Santa Fe

Excellent options for healthy eaters and a varied drink menu. Staff could not have been more accommodating. Had issue with room location originally but staff immediately addressed this and personally relocated us. Hotel is ideally located, safe and walking distance to all things around the plaza. Will definitely stay here again . Love the hotel history and charm!
