The Blue House with Lake Views

Charming home across from Lake Erie in quiet Lakeside neighborhood. Guests will love the beautiful finishes, unique decor and high end touches! Lake views just across the street, stroll to the beach 2 min away or relax in the shady backyard.

Bright and open first floor with entry, living room with smart tv, sunroom/office, dining room, kitchen and half bath. Kitchen features gas stove/oven, dishwasher, stainless refrigerator, and is well-stocked for preparing meals or baking to your heart’s desire! Brew your favorite coffees, teas and cocoas provided, too!

Three spacious bedrooms upstairs with soft bedding for restful nights. Our favorite is the I Love Lucy Suite that features vintage bedroom set circa 1953! Mixed with Erie, PA artist’s rendition of Lucy and retro bedding, this room is a fun escape. Bedroom #2 is queen room with lake view, and Bedroom #3 is king room with lake view, large smart TV. Full bathroom upstairs, half bath on first floor. Laundry in basement.

Guests can retreat into the backyard hammock, patio or take a short 2 minute walk to the beach at Chautauqua Park. Look for the park bench, then follow the natural-root carved path down to the rocky beach- full of beach glass! It's an adventure to climb down but people of all ages enjoy the quiet beach here. Boat ramps 3-5 minute drive, 5 minutes to downtown, 15 minute drive to Presque State Park and Waldameer Amusement Park and Water World.

HOUSE RULES: Please count all visitors at time of booking.

Please respect the neighborhood and practice quiet time beginning at 10 pm. No smoking, vaping, pets or illegal activity.

Guest must reserve with accurate count of people in their group. NO additional visitors permitted on property- whether staying or not. Hosts and staff live nearby.

The Blue House was terrific. Janelle was an awesome host. The house was very clean and comfortable. Neighbors were very friendly and welcoming. We had some people over for a Mercyhurst graduation celebration and I heard so many compliments about the house, the views, and just the property overall.

The Blue House is lovely and served us well. The house was very clean, cozy, airy, and light-filled. The host left a great information binder that helped us locate the neighborhood beach access. The K-Cups were appreciated. We would recommend this house for sure.

Family get away

We drove from out of town to this location and I was impressed before I even entered the house! Once we entered the house, I was simply amazed how clean and comfortable the home felt it was spacious welcoming, and it was in a good location less than 10 or 12 minutes from a lot of places we went. The host was easy to contact and responded in a timely manner. I definitely will be coming back to this location each time I come to Erie!

Comfortable Stay in a Pretty Home

This is a pretty, comfortable home! Kitchen was beautiful with good supplies for cooking. Living space was comfortable with streaming services for the kids during downtime. Only one shower, and the drain was quite slow. Very pleasant backyard with seating area! We didn’t use the grill because we didn’t want to clean it 😞. View of Lake Erie was nice, and the neighbors were kind and pleasant. Our kids were pretty disappointed that the beach had no trace of glass as advertised (they were really looking forward to it!). Overall, a great place!
