I have stayed in some really nice 150 to 190 a night hotels and would put this place right up at the top with the big boys. Especially for the price. You will be very pleasantly surprised.....no doubt
Rooms were in excellent condition (looked new), appliances are kept in new condition. Free breakfast in the morning and fresh coffee on hand what seemed to be 24/7 for the guests. Hope and the staff go way beyond what any other place i have ever stayed at The whole staff is friendly and always ask if there is anything you need. No worries about your vehicle. The security staff is excellent also.
I was totally pleased with my experience staying there for 9 days and no doubt you will be too!

Don't check in late
I booked two weeks in advance and called front on the day of check in notify I will be arriving late. Checkin at 10pm and was checking to handicap room with roll in shower rm 105 mildew all over the shower and floor, hair, water spots on the mirror disgusting. I asked to move. Sorry we're sold out. Worst stay ever....I won't stay there again nor book with Travelocity again

This Hotel is the best place to stay on Earth!!!!
Pros:Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Oh.. how do i start there are so many things about towneplace Suites in Ft lauderdale..My first impression of the beautiful place was like wow,this looks like a very cozy n quiet place to stay and i must say it sure was. In the morning there is a complimentary breakfast served to you at the front desk with many varieties to choose from.Oh must i forget about the freshly baked cookies lol provided to the guest in the afternoon. i could go on but i have so much excitement of where i stayed i just can't seems to put it in many words...ps thanks to Ashley @ the front desk, she know's how to treat her guest with a smile.

Air conditioning
Front desk staff friendly, housekeeping was just fine. We stayed 5 nights.
We recognized that our A/C system was shutting off completely, independently- even though we had it set at 72, the room temp upon waking was 75. We heard one other guest make a similar complaint. The guy from engineering was condescending and actually tried to have us believe that the temp 75 was not that of "our room" but the current temp outside (manager even shocked about that one). We did learn later from a Marriott manager at another facility that the a/c's actually shut off when it detects no movement in the room (who would walk around in their sleep?). It is supposed to detect that we are "there" sleeping though.
Also room had a small kitchen (nice addition) but smelled like there was old water leakage into the carpeting from the kitchen or something (musty smell).
Hotel entrance accessible by only one direction, unless you do an illegal U-turn, or taking a diversion through a small corporate complex next door. Remote/marginal area of town, but a great buy for what we paid. Just wish we weren't waking up drenched in sweat each morning.
Oh, fitness center was basically a closet with about 4 machines. Bed was very comfy though!
