We asked for an accessible room due to my wife needing knee replacement. They offered us a room on the 3rd floor, near the elevator. They neglected to tell us that the only elevator serving the 3rd floor was out of order. A member of the staff who ran into us just after we discovered the elevator issue, took us too our rooms and brought all of our luggage to the room. I didn't get his name but he was by far the most helpful member of the staff. When I went to the front desk to ask about the elevator, I was assured that the elevator would be repaired before the next morning. When I tried to return to my room, I found that the key card they had issued me did not work. The next morning, the elevator was still not in service and, fortunately, we ran into the same gentleman who had helped us the day before, who again took care of bringing all of our luggage down for us. I tried to tip him, but he refused to take any money. The front desk staff was useless, not offering any solutions, just meaningless apologies. The one person who did provide assistance was exceptional.
