The property includes privately owned rooms with locked “Owners” drawers. I expect some of the individual rooms are in better shape than others. Ours was in a state of some disrepair, some shabby cabinetry. It seems the blanket rental rates should be adjusted for overall condition of the room.

it was too old, needs updating. our dresser was falling apart, the towels & shower had hair in them, they changed our sheets but didn't give us a new comforter even after calling 3 times. the mini fridge smelt so bad. Front desk Madi was AMAZING, few other staffs at the Tiki bar were amazing too. other than that, I wouldn't stay there again.

Being on the ocean really was what we were looking for. And that did meet our expectations. Check in staff was a little bit dismissive to other people checking in and openly were talking about guests who were staying at the same time as us. Rooms need help. We smushed several bugs before we even unpacked our bags. Couple dead spiders in the shower too. Only light in our room had a dead light bulb so it was dark. Bed was… broken? Or just very uncomfortable. As we sat on it, it sank a while down and didn’t feel super solid. Guess the price you really pay is for being on the ocean but rooms definitely need a good renovation!

Very dated and tired looking property. Poor presentation ..dirty glasses laying around in common areas. Chairs and towels were strewn around the pool overnight. Chipped tiles in the bathroom, rusty fixtures . Staff was friendly, but obviously overworked/understaffed since there was no attention to detail on the property. Will definitely not be going back.

High hopes, low delivery.

The least “luxury experience” resort I’ve ever stayed at. The front desk was incredibly rude when we arrived due to being busy, eventually we got acknowledged and they were able to check us in early which was nice. The city shut off the water so our toilet didn’t run the next morning, no big deal, maintenance fixed it. However, an hour later my husband used the bathroom and couldn’t flush the toilet. All of the water to our room was shut off for over 4 hours. He told the front desk and the woman was , again, incredibly rude, getting angry at him for letting her know b/c she kept saying it was the city. It wasn’t. Turned out it was the maintenance that was going on in the room next door and no one notified us. So there was a full toilet (kinda funny) that sat there for over 4 hours. The hallways smelled like marijuana and cigarettes. This is probably the only hotel I’ve ever stayed in that doesn’t offer complimentary water in the lobby, you have to pay for water bottles (eco friendly is not a concern apparently). Everything is an upcharge, from the water, to coffee (no coffee maker in room or microwave) to chairs and umbrellas on the beach. The walls are super thin , we could hear our neighbors partying all night; which is fine, but we had our 1 y.o son with us as this was advertised as a family friendly resort. The hotel room wall was like peeling off, the siding on the corners was peeling. Overall it was a disappointing stay and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The room was clean, but sparse. We had to ask for a table lamp, which was delivered promptly. There was a refrigerator, but no microwave. Like the lamp, we thought it might be missing, but didn't need one so we didn't ask. The sliding door to the balcony needed some lubricant.

What hotel does not have a coffee pot in your room. You have to buy your coffee from lobby. Pay for parking daily with valet and also tip. Staff was very rude and not very helpful. Would not return.

A nostalgic property which is great for older travelers. Stayed in penthouse which was more than spacious. Picture on website is exactly how toom looked. Has easy acess to beach activities. Parking is reasonable. I loved it and could overlook it's cosmetic flaws. Grandkids prefer more in line Embassy Suites for newness. I would definitely stay again

Decent hotel on the Beach

I had a nice room with a balcony and an ocen view. My room was somewhat renovated. I didn't like that the TV only smart tv channels and didn't have cable channels I need to use for my work during the day like CNBC. The internet was a bit shotty at times

Our standard room was not very standard. We stayed for ten days and for 5 days we could barely open the door to our balcony. Our room had a small refrigerator with no coffee maker or microwave and we were told this was standard. The only item which came with our $300 nightly stay was a pool towel. Chairs and umbrellas were an extra charge per day. The Tiki bar was nice for the most part but the staff were very slow and the costs were very high. The elevators went out daily. We will not be returning or recommending.

Their rooms were like something you would get in a concentration camp Rooms were all white tile, white walls, limited furniture, not even a pen I actually went downstairs to the desk to ask for a pen to write something and he says we don’t have anything You will need to go somewhere and buy one Very noisy at night specially outside the elevator when I was staying The shower was very small water was lukewarm The air-conditioning didn’t work very well. I guess it was hooked up to the main building. Paint falling off the walls All around, just a dirty, dirty hotel and very expensive for what I got The only good thing about it. It was right on the beach and even that was nasty too just to walk to the beach.
