When you step onto the property, you will have a sense of relaxation with the view of Eagle Mountain Lake. Besides the lake there are many amenities that you would love: spacious kitchen and living room, flat screen smart TV, indoor fireplace, spacious covered patio with BBQ grill readily available, and of course an amazing fire pit!

Every morning you will witness an amazing sunrise from the dock. My favorite thing to do is to have a cup of coffee while watching it on the dock. Trust me it is something to witness!

We enjoyed the lake house. Our dog loved running around in the yard. Fishing was great. The thunderstorms were scary but amazing.

Host was responsive to messages. Fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs. Spent a lot of time fishing, but dock was full of webs and wasps nests. House was cute but somewhat disorganized and pictures looked better than what it was. Some cookware was old and not usable. Ice maker did not work and was not told that prior to arrival. The house 2 doors down had about 15 dogs (breeder, kennel or puppy mill?) that barked often while in the house taking away from the otherwise serene lake atmosphere. Had great luck catching fish but house was definitely overpriced.

Perfect Getaway That Was Close to Home!

Who says you have to drive or fly for hours to get to the perfect location? We live about 40 minutes away, but it was like being transported. The cottage is quaint, and the view was beautiful. All the positive reviews are spot on, would book again in an instant.Heading into the neighborhood does give you pause, it is much older and not upscale, but the property is secure and other than local dogs barking when something set them off all was quiet.Our lab loved being able to swim and play fetch. We enjoyed fishing from the dock and watching the sunrises on the patio and just relaxing.Our host, Nina, was very responsive anytime I messaged with a question.We had a wonderful three days!
A nice area to sunbathe or just lounge.
Weather was perfect.
So pretty!

Nice quiet spot to just relax or if you like to boat or fish.. My son even found shell & a huge turtle down by the dock.. comfortable quiet setting to set and drink your morning coffee or enjoy dinner outside.. will definitely do again.

Beautiful

This was such a beautiful stay. The neighborhood is quiet and the view is amazing. Our dogs had an absolute blast. I would recommend bringing fans for every room. The ac's juat cant keep up in this heat. Im thankful we already had a fan with us. It would have benn misreable without the extra help. Other than, that, we adore this place and would definitely come back!

A beautiful, well appointed, out of the way waterfront jewel

This is a waterfront jewel of a place to stay. It's always very clean, well appointed and relaxing. My family has stayed here a number of times, the owner is very communicative and helpful and the experience is one that you will want to repeat. Highly recommend.

Nice but horrific neighborhood

This is a very nice place. It is very clean. Our dog enjoyed it too!! The lake view from the house is absolutely beautiful. The furniture outside is nice, but new cushions are desperately needed. The owner was easily contacted. Unfortunately the neighborhood is horrific.

Property was clean. Nice place. But a few recommendations, cut the lawn. There were ants on n the cabinet. Deck was full of spider webs. Outdoor lights don’t work in the yard. Inside is pretty and clean. The outside needed attention. And the outdoor trash was full when we got there

Cute 2 bedroom cabin on lake. Nice outdoor seating under the gazebo & trees. Swam in lake which was warm & pretty shallow. TV & kitchen just right. Beds comfortable. Missing a few amenities like hand soap. Front porch light broken. Rat droppings around indoor water heater, but saw no rats. Overall a nice property. Enjoyed our stay.

Just what I needed!

This lil house is the BEST!! The view is gorgeous! The bright colors of this home just put you in a cheery mood. I took both my pups and was very happy with the entire fenced in yard front and back! If you are in need of a relaxing, fantastic views, and getting away from it all. This is the place. I plan on booking this lovely lake house again!

Great place to get away

The house was updated and we loved being able to walk out back and enjoy the view on the lake. The privacy of the back yard was great and there’s a huge shade tree over the fire pit area. We visited during the peak of summer, so sittings on the dock/deck in the evening was our favorite time.
