Welcome to The Windchimer! Everything about this 4,400 square foot home will take your breath away! Enjoy your mountain vacation in one of the most luxurious cabins located only 12 minutes from Gatlinburg.
Enjoy the inviting, spectacular panoramic views of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park from every room and two levels of spacious, covered decks. Kick back in the most impressive great room with its impressive 23-foot window wall, two snuggly soft leather sofas, an inviting stacked stone fireplace and curved flat screen TV with ample space for gathering.
Prepare a fabulous family meal in The Windchimer's fully equipped and spacious indoor gourmet kitchen complete with confectionary oven or move out to the outdoor grilling area, with panoramic views that's great for entertaining. Share your meal at our huge dining table carved from a cedar tree stump and reclaimed wood table top. Cozy up for a more casual meal at the large breakfast bar surrounding the kitchen with recess style lighting.

The adjacent Master bedroom includes a vaulted ceiling, gorgeous mountain views, flat screen TV and a huge Master bath with tile shower with 6 water shooters, three on each side, and double vanity and jetted tub. Also included in the Master bath is a modern and spacious laundry area with a full-size washer and dryer. Three additional bedrooms are located on the upper and lower levels, each with king bed, flat panel TV, private baths and views of the mountains offering privacy for each of your guests.
The lower level contains a spacious and well-planned game room with a full-size pool table, standard size card table, 60" flat screen TV and mini reading library for your reading enjoyment. The queen sofa sleeper will provide sleeping accommodations for two additional guests.
Don't forget, tee time is only moments away at the Bent Creek Golf Club, designed by PGA great Gary Player. The beautiful course is within the community and has very reasonable rates. If more adrenaline is your thing, Zip-Lining is just a few minutes away with thrills for everyone or head on into downtown Gatlinburg where you can find endless things to see and do.

If you don't feel up to going out, sit back, relax and catch a movie on the flat panel TV in the sitting area, or kick it up a notch in the theater room with 9-foot screen, multiple speakers, and 8 very comfortable, reclining chairs. Everything was perfect! Anita was very easy to work with if we had any questions and the house was a perfect dream. Close enough to downtown but far enough away from all of the “touristy” things that we could enjoy the peace and quiet.

We travel every year, whether it’s to the beach or Mountains. This Cabin was the most perfect for our Family. My husband and I take our children and our grandchildren, and by far was this the most comfortable as in size, the way it was set up down to the beds and couches. Highly recommend for multiple families.

Great view beautiful house but


Though the house is accessible inside, it’s hard to get inside and the showers are not accessible whatsoever. There were several tvs that would not work except on streaming, none of the blinds would open correctly, ice maker was not working, parking is exceptional for car, and the air conditioning would not keep up in the afternoon/evening maybe due to the constant monitoring and changing of the temp with the property owner? Also I’ve never been to a place that had cameras outside the house
if you ask me it’s kind of off putting when you’re trying to enjoy family time.

Best rental we’ve ever stayed in!

The Windchimer is a gorgeous luxury style property that we very much enjoyed! It is enough away from the tourist chaos of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but a quick drive will get you to those things. The kitchen is equipped with every utensil and accessory you could need. It is by far the cleanest vacation rental we have stayed in and the attention to detail, maintenance and upkeep is evident throughout. Anita, the property liaison is passionate about this home and is an amazing person! Her response to communication was almost instantaneous every time. She is the perfect balance of caring and professional! We loved her! The ENORMOUS primary bedroom is located off the main living area which has a stunning view of the mountains. Two secondary bedrooms each with its own private full bath and large closet space is upstairs. Down in the basement or lower level is another huge family room/game room, the 4th bedroom with its own private bath, an additional full bathroom and a completely high end theater room. This cabin is HUGE and still has room for everyone to have their own "space" when needed. The driveway is steep and was a bit intimidating the first time but after that no worries. None of our vehicles were 4 wheel drive and we were fine. I have nothing but praise for this cabin and the host. Instead of a Welcome Book, there are helpful notes throughout the home, but nothing ominous as other reviewers stated. It was perfect.

Amazing House

The view takes your breath away!!! All bedroom have lots of space and have their own private bathroom. Whoever decorated this home did an amazing job. Theater room very nice we had no problems my siblings had a great time watching movies đŸŽ„ 🍿 super comfortable!! We got to see a cub đŸ» on a tree the first day the second day we got to see the Mama bear thanks to Anita for warning us I am glad she has cameras in her property. I am not going to lie I was a little bit worried after reading all the review but I don’t regret booking this home. The only thing that was a little bit scary were the roads we got there at 2:00am not a good time to arrive if you are not familiar with the road but other than that we had a great time. And I don’t think there’s nothing wrong with the rules that are listed in the house. The owner just want her house to be treated with respect as well with her belongings. Thank you very much Anita for making my family feel comfortable and safe. 😁 Everyone had a great weekend!!!!

The best cabin ever!!!

My husband and I along with our grandchildren, stayed at this beautiful cabin. It was everything that we dreamed of and more!! No issues with the air conditioning as mentioned in previous reviews. The cabin was exactly as pictured online and extremely comfortable and well maintained. The rules mentioned in previous reviews were actually standard check out procedures. Nothing more then wash up your dishes, put trash in bearproof cage outside the cabin and throw your dirty towels in a tub. Its apparent, some previous guests are entitled and not appreciative. Anita was an absolute wonderful host! We texted back and forth several times just to share pictures of the bears that visited the property throughout the stay! Our kids loved coming back to the home everyday after our many adventures! It truly felt like home. If you are looking for peace and quiet in the beautiful Smokie Mountains.....this is the place to stay. I looked forward to the peace and quiet in the mornings on the deck having coffee with my husband and overlooking the mountains. The cabin is in a secluded area in Gaitlinburg, which made it nice. I would highly recommend this place and would love to come back again in the fall!

Would not recommend!. we own 3 homes and a large tacht, semi retired and we travel 8 months a year. Hard to deal with aggressive owner. Too many rules. The AC kept going back to 74 degrees even though negoiated 71 degrees at night. Read massive cleaning request at checkout, proceeded to clean then she had the odasett to try and charge $50 because it took us 20 mins to empty all trash, clean dishes, and put all towels in tub. whaaat? rude and difficult!

Absolutely Amazing!!!

This cabin had the "WOW" factor as soon as we opened the door. This place was everything we had hoped for and then some. Its was immaculately clean and had the highest quality furnishings and linens. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were so comfortable and the view was unbelievably, breathtaking. Anita took care if us from the booking all the way to check-out. She was so friendly and definitely extended her southern hospitality to us. Thank you Anita for such a wonderful, welcoming place to make memories. Already made our next reservation. Can't wait to get back...

House of rules!

It is a lovely house with amazing views. They are signs with rules and warnings posted throughout the house. Although no mention of any air conditioning restrictions on the listing or the contract, we were originally limited to 74 degrees during 95 degree weather. After much fuss, we were finally “allowed” to have temperature adjusted to 70 degrees. We were not granted the ability to reduce it any further. Unpleasant and rude property manager - difficult to deal with.

Beautiful home and location, just a little scary with the incline driving in especially when it’s raining. Little disappointed that the living room fireplace did not work at the time we were there. Overall the house was nice and the views were beautiful!!
