    Loved our stay


    The house is an older remodeled home, which I loved
some older home features mixed with modern styling and amenities. It’s a short drive to the beach (we did drive the 3-4 blocks, rather than lug all of our beach things with two children in tow) and there is plenty of parking at the waterfront area. The neighborhood itself is quiet and residential. There seem to be some other houses being remodeled within the area, maybe to turn into rentals, as well. We drove to VA Beach several times to visit some attractions there
beware of the tunnel traffic. But that has absolutely nothing to do with this incredible home. We had just the right amount of space and everything we could need- bedrooms were very spacious, and everything was very clean.

    Overall our stay was fine but for the future I would recommend that the lawn is cut weekly. The shower-head does not work in one of the bathrooms and needs to be fixed. There were quite a few bugs in the house especially upstairs. Please make sure the house is sprayed regularly. Also, placing air fresheners in the house in between occupancy will ensure that the house is attractive to guest. There was a broken lamp in the living room and the Roku remote volume does not work in the living room either. Although my list is long overall our family enjoyed our visit and would recommend this location in the future. Thanks for your hospitality.

    Family Vacation

    Wow, just wow! This vacation home is absolutely stunning. My family (5 kids and my husband) and I enjoyed every minute that we spent here. The entire process of booking, checking in, communication while staying, and checking out was simple and efficient. Plenty of room for everyone, short and beautiful walk to the beach, and in a family friendly neighborhood. Mostly everything that you need was provided, and for anything that you are lacking, there are plenty of shopping options all around no further than 15 minutes away. If this place is one that you're thinking about choosing, do it!

    Overall we enjoyed the house and our stay. I only wish their were mirrors in each of the bedrooms. It was difficult getting dressed with only mirrors in the bathrooms.

    We enjoyed our stay—close to lots of fun attractions, comfortable house with well stocked kitchen. (Our 10-year-old thought having a TV in his room was pretty great.) Thumbs up.

    Buckroe Beach is great!

    Convenient (5 blocks) to clean beach with wide walking and biking paths. House has recently been refreshed and it was obvious. We were there during some of the hottest days to date for this summer, so upstairs a/c had a little trouble keeping up. Not a deal breaker. No family restaurants within walking distance, but PLENTY of options within a short drive. We ate in most evenings. Many pluses: *Nice TVs throughout the house *Kitchen was well appointed with dishes, utensils, pots and pans *Plenty of seating in the living area *Outside faucet and hose on the side of the house to rinse sand off of feet and legs *Parking in the driveway for at least three vehicles We had a great week at Buckroe Beach!

    Such a quaint house. Looks like other homes in the area are becoming vacation homes. Close to a lot of stores and restaurants. Plenty of room in the house. Beach was a short ten minute walk with an ice cream shop on the way. Overall the accomodations were great!

    Buckroe Beach Cottage

    Lynn Howard and his team are superstars. The check in and checkout process is very easy. The house was very clean with ample supply. It’s five blocks from Buckroe Beach which is a hidden gem. I had a small issue when I first arrived and Lynn and his team took care of it with a few hours. WiFi is fast, beds were large and comfortable. I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to be near the beach.

    Quick VA Visit

    We had an awesome stay at this Buckroe Beach house! We had three couples and two toddlers and there was plenty of room. The house comes well equipped from the kitchen, to the bedrooms and bathrooms. The washer and dryer came in handy as well. You can easily walk to Buckroe Beach however there is plenty of beach parking if you wanted a quick minute drive to the beach. The ONLY improvement I would say would be the shower water pressure in the hall bathroom needed to be stronger but other than that this place was awesome. Communication was GREAT. Very detailed instructions and info as well as very responsive to any inquiries I had. Thanks so much for letting us stay at your lovely home! 5 STARS!

    Excellent stay

    We had a mini (six couples) marriage retreat. The property accommodated the amount of people needed for our event and everything we needed was provided wth the exception of food and drinks. The property is 2 mins from Buckroe Beach which is beautiful!! We will definitely book this property again. Thanks to the owner for great hospitality

    We had a great time at this place. The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does on the pictures. The neighborhood is very conveniently located and is very quiet! Would absolutely recommend to stay there!
