Pillow Rock Deluxe Luxury Log cabin in the New River Gorge area

Pillow Rock is a 4-bedroom, 3 bath, 2-story cabin both cozy and accommodating. This 4-bedroom WV log cabin is spacious at 1740 sq. ft. and sleeps up to 12 in 1 King, 3 Queen bedrooms, a queen sleeper sofa and a full futon upstairs sleeping area. There is 1 bedroom and 2 baths downstairs and 2 bedrooms and 1 bath upstairs as well as a newly added queen bedroom on the lower level. The cabin includes a washer/dryer along with all the comforts of home.

This cabin features a gas fireplace, TV with the basic Dish Network package, DVD player, Wi-Fi, a spacious covered front porch deck with private hot tub, gas grill, dishwasher, washer/dryer and is furnished with central heating and cooling.

The fully equipped kitchen has all major appliances, cookware and utensils you will need. All bed linens and towels are provided to help make your stay more convenient and enjoyable. We also include lots of additional amenities for your convenience such as coffee, tea, sugar, creamer, paper towels, foil and other items too numerous to mention.

Choose from the many year-round outdoor attractions nearby, the New River Gorge Visitor's Center, go whitewater rafting on the New and Gauley Rivers with our activity partners Adventures on the Gorge, nearby Winterplace Ski Resort for great snow skiing and tubing. Boating or swimming at Summersville Lake, hiking, golf, horseback riding, ATV's, fishing and just a short drive away from many State and National parks.

Pillowrock

Very nice cabin. Enjoyed the fire pit. Main areas were clean. Dead bugs on the windowsills were missed. Everything worked well except for the refrigerator was missing door shelves and the door wasn’t closing unless you pushed it closed using your entire body. Was told new one was in the way. I would come back.

High school reunion

We are a group of women who graduated together in 1966 and try to get together annually. We are from West Virginia but now live in different areas and states. We chose the New River Gorge area for its beauty and none of us had been there for some time. We chose Pillow Rock cabin based on its description and location. It is the last cabin in, so there was no traffic. It worked well for our group and we had a fantastic time! The staff from the Country Roads office were very helpful and accommodating.

Relaxing stay!

We we were very impressed with this cabin. 4 couples stayed very comfortably each with their own bedroom. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with basic needs and kitchen amenities. The area is very quiet with beautiful views located close to the gorge. We had a very enjoyable, relaxing stay and will definitely book again!

Family weekend

We had a GREAT time at our weekend at Pillow Rock. The location is amazing, it's secluded yet close to the hiking and things. Everything at the house was clean and well stocked. We would definitely stay again!!

Awesome getaway from everything ...

Secluded cabin, very quiet, clean. Just what we were looking for and very much needed. Upon arrival we found a Christmas tree (decorated) and some other decorations in the cabin. The bottom floor was a bit under construction/repairs (it did not bother us at all, it looks more like they are doing an addition) I want to see how it comes out...It was perfect for our family, it has 1 big bedroom on the main floor with bathroom, one bedroom on the bottom floor and 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor. there is 1 bathroom on the 2nd floor and one more bathroom on the main floor. It has terraces and a hot tub outside. It has a fireplace (gas). We all loved it. Great couple of days disconnected from the craziness of the city. It does have Wi-Fi and Satellite TV. It is very close to the New River Gorge Nat Park and bridge. On the 60 you can go to the Hawk Park and to Cathedral falls... very nice for site seeing. Just perfect!

Perfect retreat for our family

we wanted a nice larger cabin, with nearby hiking for a couple of days get away before thanksgiving. This was perfect- short drive to hiking in the new river gorge, the cabin was very nice, hot tub, kitchen. Enjoyed every minute.
