"We booked this B&B last minute for my birthday trip. Polkerris completely exceeded ALL of our expectations. It is the CLEANEST accommodations I have ever stayed at!!! Our room was spotless and so were the common areas and dining experience. The property is well-maintained + great view, this made us feel very comfortable. We missed their welcome message and did not send them our arrival time, yet they were still so welcoming when we got there a bit early. The family (Laura and her parents) that runs Polkerris and all staff we encountered are incredibly kind and make you feel so welcome. Their passion for hospitality shines through in all they do, we felt like we were staying at a relative’s home because of their kindness and care. They went above & beyond for my birthday and I will always remember this (especially because this has been a hard year for us, we really needed this warm experience). This was our first time having traditional Jamaican food and it was absolutely delicious!!! Everything they served us was wonderful. I’m really missing the Escovitch fish. My husband eats only veg & chicken and I’m pescatarian and we felt like we had enough options, and they are also flexible and accommodating too with food preferences. The location is extremely convenient, only a few minutes from the airport. You can walk to the beaches, shops, and 27/27 Lounge is literally right down the street. We would love to stay here again. Thank you all for everything!"

"The main advantage is that it’s only a few minutes from the airport. It’s cheap and cheerful, making it suitable for an overnight stay rather than a holiday destination, as there’s not much to do nearby. Shops are just around the corner, and the hotel is located close to the sea. The property is in need of significant updating. I mainly use it for a one-night stay when my flight arrives late, and meals are not included, so you’ll need to buy your own food. I’ve stayed at this hotel twice and will continue to use it because of its convenience. However, the pictures are somewhat deceiving and make the hotel appear better than it actually is."

"Great low budget hotel with good breakfast options. Restaurant on site for lunch and dinner. Room had iron and iron board which was very helpful. Only thing room lack was a microwave but one was in the lobby. The AC in the room was well needed. The staff were friendly and helpful."

"I wanted to write a fair and honest review of Deja All Inclusive Resort. I understand that Montego Bay is still recovering from the hurricane last year, so I do want to give grace. At the same time, I think it is important for future guests to have realistic expectations. Overall, many of the staff members were friendly, warm, and welcoming. The Waterfalls Restaurant was a highlight of our stay. The food was great, and the staff there were always kind and attentive. However, there were a few disappointing interactions. The young lady who handled tour information was not friendly during any of our encounters and often acted as though we were disturbing her. I tried to give grace, but it was consistent. The checkout experience was also disappointing. The young lady who checked us out did not ask if we needed transportation, so we asked the gentleman at the transportation booth. This seemed to upset her, and she went back and forth with the driver in a way that felt rude and unprofessional. As far as the resort itself, I would not describe Deja as luxury. If you want close beach access, included food and drinks, and overall friendly staff, it may be worth considering. The common areas seemed better maintained than the rooms. I requested a room change due to the bathroom conditions but the second room was not much better. I also felt the website photos may be outdated. I do appreciate the positives, but Deja did not meet my expectations."
