The staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms wete dirty and dated. Call 3 times to get our bathroom cleaned. There was hair stuck to walls. The refrigerator in the room smelled like it never been cleaned. The elevators broke down 2 twice while we stayed. Cleaning had a langauge barrier

Hotel is a little dated but clean, safe, and, a great location. There were issues with the elevators , which , are very secure but cannot handle large nos of people at peak times, otherwise a goid hotel, no frills.

Great location!
Hotel was dated. Bedding was uncomfortable. Room never got cold although we had the therm set on 60. Water pressure was low and the shower curtain wouldn’t stay put. Elevator went out the day we were leaving. Valet parking was way overpriced. It was open to the public as well. For the price of the room, parking should have had much for of a discount. Drinks at the restaurant were terrible. We only had one mai tai. Prime location and great amenities.

Other than the hiccups with the elevator system, the amenities, staff, and accommodations were excellent. Loved the view of the ocean and the friendly, welcoming employees. Would absolutely stay here again, and recommend to anyone traveling to Hawaii.

First and foremost the room was very dirty. Rooms was very Dusty, blood on sheets, carpet was sticky and smelled, hair in shower and all over the bathroom walls, shower was gross. Asked the front desk to have the room deep cleaned but it was not done. The front desk staff were not well informed or in sync with info and policies of the hotel. The credit for candy shack was a joke. They have very few chairs and paddle boards. In fact I sighed up for a paddle board and as I picked it up they had given it to someone else and said I'm out of luck. Very rude. The hotel elevators broke down several times throughout the stay making it hard to navigate up and down. I requested a a late check out of 1:30p due to a friend being in a surf accident and in hospital. They charged $60 with no sympathy. I requested luggage retrieval upon check out due to elevator outage waiting 30 min and finally had to take the stairs and was late to airport. Overall a terrible experience. And it was birthday with my two which was never acknowledge. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

Enjoyed our stay. Although old hotel it was clean and staff was friendly and cooperative. The elevators were unreliable, not working right. Bathroom needs mat in shower, was slippery and lighting in bathroom was low, not good for putting on makeup. No microwave. Need new mattresses. Needs ice machines on all floors not just even as you have to go down stairs to access even floors. Access to beach was phenomenal!
