The ocean was very visible from our lanai and we were able to watch Waikīkī Friday night fireworks from there also! The location is convenient to many popular locations and has views of Diamond Head from the one side of the hotel for great picture opportunities. Local public transportation trolleys and buses all have multiple pick ups from the hotel each day which was a big money saver! The daily availability of beach chairs was an awesome benefit of staying here, and the restaurant - Tikis- was the best meal we had on Oahu! While the hotel is older, they have worked hard to keep things up to date and in decent repair. If you're in Waikiki you're not spending all your time in your room anyway! However, that said, you DO always want a comfortable bed to sleep in and this one was EXTREMELY comfortable! We have a great bed at home and are seldom satisfied with hotel beds but the one we had at the Twin Fin did not disappoint! It was amazing!!! The staff was all very friendly and responsive as well- kudos Twin Fin for a great stay!

Location is Superb! Hotel is dated and the amenities are lacking. Staff was kind but they seemed understaffed. You’re paying for the location only, the room was old but clean. Glad I upgraded to the oceanfront room or I would have been disappointed. Will stay at one of the neighbouring properties next time with nicer lobby and pool decks for the same price.

We arrived pretty late at night after a long flight and checked into our multiple bed hotel room. The room was not as clean as we would like. The carpet was not vacuumed very well and still had a fair amount of sand on the ground. On our last day while checking under the bed to make sure we didn’t leave anything we also found a chip bag that wasn’t ours. The hotel room was outdated and the bathroom had a leak from the ceiling which accumulated into my make up bag, soaking everything in it. We expected 3 queen beds as advertised on Expedia but arrived into our room to find 3 double beds which were not big for all four of enough for us all to have ample space to sleep. There are a lot of places to stay when visiting Waikiki and we would not pick this hotel or recommend it to our friends for the future.

Older hotel, but clean and updated rooms, and friendly staff. Beach Candy amenities were a huge bonus, and loved by our group. Recommend upgrading to a suite. It was worth the extra cost for the week.

AC would never shut off. Random smells of food through the vents during the night, never any towels after 7am. Room was very small but that was better than the bathroom, incredibly smalll, need renovation, and a fan. Staff was polite but felt understaffed.

We were on Oahu on a two day layover and chose Twin Fin based on reviews etc. It was lovely. Our flight landed at 5:30 am and by the time we got to the hotel it was 7am. The front desk agent (I can’t remember his name but he was wonderful) found that there was a room ready for us and we were able to check in right away. Room was clean and welcoming. Bed comfortable. We had drinks at the pool that afternoon (Lucy, our server, was awesome) Ordered appetizers from the Tiki lounge and ate on our balcony both nights and made it to the pop up Christmas speakeasy our last night. It was a great experience and we will definitely stay here again.
