"We’re entering the hotel, there was a gentleman there who you could tell what’s under mental distress. He was talking to himself, pacing the floor. I asked the staff member was she OK oh, and was he OK? She says yes that he’s always there he’s no bother. I understand the fact that you would not want to put someone out if it’s inclement weather. But also you have to remember that you’re running a business, and not all guests will be comfortable with walking in with a person that is experiencing some type of mental health issues being there in the lobby. Also, the rooms were not clean. They were very worn and old. Serious updates. Need to be done to this hotel."

"This property is a property that I stay at on a continuous basis when I travel to Cleveland. I never have any complaints only sometimes the property is booked and it becomes overcrowded with children. These children are always unsupervised. And they run through the halls. The breakfast is always fresh but again because of the crowded situation sometimes it becomes overwhelming. My biggest disappointment is the condition of the room. The tub had rust around the edges. The carpet seems to be wearing. And the floors in the bathroom around the edges are resting as well. Some of the rooms need serious updates or cosmetic updates. When it comes to the staff, I believe that if they’re going to be in hospitality field, the hospitality needs to be shown. When you walk in all you get is, how can I help you. The staff does not brand the hotel, by saying thank you for visiting or staying at the Embassy suites can I get you checked in today and checking out the stuff does not ask how was your day I think that there needs to be some education on how hospitality communication should come across and checking out there were 3 to 4 staff. Just standing at the front desk when I walked up to the just to check out all I got was how can I help you when I advise that I was checking out I was not asked. How was your stay henceforth this review. One last thing, Sunday morning, the main lobby, the lounging area, had trash everywhere. This should’ve been addressed at 7 o’clock."

"The hotel was nice for a weekend stay. Upon checkin the worker only asked for my ID and then handed the room keys. On checkout day (Sunday morning) the staff called the room at 7:30 Am to wake us up (a noon checkout time) to say there was something wrong with my credit card. After trying to process 2 different cards a manager then came and insisted nothing went through and then I paid cash. To then come home and find out I was charged the full amount 3 times on those credit cards and now having to deal with the bank. A HUGE inconvenience and annoyance overall. "
