The owner/wife and male at the front desk need lessons in good customer relations and effective communications. Both were very abrasive and nasty. It is possible to rigidly stand firm on the conditions of the reservation without resorting to that behavior and, instead, saying, "I'm very sorry, but...." (1) I was not feeling well and wanted to go home instead of staying the second night. I asked if they would be willing not to charge me the second night. (2) I booked a triple room because it was the only one available and was able to get a single room when I arrived. While I appreciate being given a different room, I asked that the rate I was being charged would be adjusted accordingly. Both were met with aggressive, snotty responses. Apparently, greed trumps good customer relations. Additionally, the bed was very hard and I awoke with a stiff back; one of the light bulbs next to the bed was burned out; I had to ask about internet, breakfast hours, and beach access.rather than being given that info at check in; I could not identify which beds on the beach belonged to Marco Polo ("M.P." was marked in black marker on the frame of the beds and only two were on the front row closest to the beach); and I was told I needed to provide my own beach towel when info in the room indicated I could rent one. On top of all this, the rate was not cheap! Do NOT book this hotel!
