Our house is located near the interstate and within easy reach of Hershey and numerous other attractions. Swatara State Park is just a 2 minute drive away. There is a hiking and biking trail just down the road. If you are kayaking you can put in or get out of the creek right into the yard. The hot tub, grille, and stocked kitchen are waiting after your days activities. Do not expect me to message you before your stay - you can be assured the place is ready for you! Also there is no TV.

Exactly as advertised. We took advantage of the opportunity to launch our kayaks. Comfortable and quiet just the way we like it. The whole experience was laid back and easy. Definitely would stay here again.

Swatara Creek and Bike access

Well kept getaway with excellent access to creek for kayaking and bike/running paths at Swatara State Park plus south to icecream at the KOA. We kayaked and biked each day, coffee on the deck by the creek and the back porch, fire pit at night, used the gas grill for dinner. Exactly what we were looking for!

Weekend Getaway

For Christmas, we were giving tickets to the Sight and Sound Theatre in Lancaster. My son was graduating from the Keystone State Challege Academy at Fort Indiantown Gap so we made a long weekend of it! The house was very nice and relaxing. I wish we had brought a canoe or fishing rods because the water access was so lovely. My only suggestion would be to bring board games or cards or a book to read as there is not a television and no games or books were provided by the host.

The property was very clean, the outdoor space was very nice! Plenty of yard and deck to enjoy! There is a very nice jet tub in the master bedroom, that was a bonus! It was well stocked with kitchen necessities! There is no TV, which wasn't a problem for us , if that's important to you then you may want to stay elsewhere. There is wifi so you are able to stream. If in the area we would stay again!
