Just steps from the water, Aloha Cottages are the quintessential oceanfront accommodations - comfy furniture, wide plank wood floors, warm salt air breezes, and ocean views to soothe the soul. The front porch of Sunrise Cottage is a favorite spot for watching the ocean's changing moods (and whales during winter months). A blend of east coast Cape Cod and early Hawaiian-style homes, our vintage cottages are spacious and light with simple furnishings - everything you will need for a relaxing, rejuvenating Kauai get-away.

PROPERTY DETAILS
Sunrise Cottage welcomes you with beautiful French doors and large picture windows in the living/dining room providing panoramic ocean views from almost every room. Two of the three bedrooms have queen-size beds and the same unforgettable ocean view. The third bedroom, furnished with two twin beds (optional King upon request), is a quiet retreat. Sunrise Cottage comfortably accommodates up to six people.

Moonrise Guest Cottage is the second cottage on the property which has another bedroom and bath to accommodate up to 2 more people, a total of up to 8 in both cottages (4 bedrooms/3 baths). Use both cottages together for a group of up to 8 friends or a multi-generational family gathering.

Recently remodeled Moonrise Guest Cottage has the charm of a bamboo canopy bed and peek-a-boo ocean view. The open, white interior is accented with soothing ocean blues for a fun, tropical ambience. A spacious food prep area (with refrigerator/freezer, coffeemaker, toaster, blender, microwave) is perfect for simple meals, along with the large outdoor stainless steel grill.

The beautifully remodeled kitchen of the main house offers gourmet cooks as well as microwavers a spectacular oceanview. The stainless steel countertop, pebble tile floor, and glassfront cabinets are reminiscent of vintage cottage decor. The upgraded appliances and granite-topped peninsula make it a cook's dream.

Both cottages are equipped with WiFi, flat-screen Smart TV and DVD player, all linens including beach towels, ceiling fans, down and faux-down bed pillows.

THE PATH: An exciting feature is the Seaside Walking and Biking Path that runs along the ocean, right past the property. Visitors enjoy the Path for exploring the coastline, past Kapaa Town, beaches and amazing ocean vistas. Kapaa has been voted one of America's 15 Prettiest Small Cities (Aug 2013) by Forbes Magazine, come and see why.

THE BEACH: Just in front of the cottage, less than 30 steps across the front lawn, is the soft sand and warm waters of 'Baby Beach,' one of the safest swimming beaches on the island for small children. Here you can enjoy kayaking, snorkeling, or even SCUBA for lobster in season. The quiet waterfront vintage neighborhood is just a short stroll from Kapaa Town, with charming shops and restaurants.

The location was great. We could walk to Baby Beach. Since we were there with young children that was helpful. I t was also easy to drive to either side of the island from the location.

Peacefull and Fun Cottage Stay

We enjoyed the location, cleanliness and roominess of Sunrise Cottage. The Moonrise Cottage was a big plus. Kitchen had everything we needed, and the water sports equipment were an added plus!

We so enjoyed the house and property! The location is close to town, adjacent to a bike and walking path, and watching the tides roll in and out was wonderful.Our family fished in the ocean right in front of the house, and walked along the waters edge.We had everything we needed in the house and the host was in excellent communication.We would stay here again!

We loved our stay here. It was our first trip to Kawai and we found this location to be very convenient. Plenty of options to eat and shop nearby. We loved the cottage!! Beautiful, waterfront cottage

We had an absolute blast staying in this beautiful, waterfront cottage - the location is perfect! Right along an amazing bike trail that hugs the coast, walking distance to a grocery store and restaurants. The cool, ocean breeze was perfect for sleeping at night. Snorkeling right out front brings green sea turtles and so many tropical fish! The place even comes with two sea kayaks for exploring the area. I highly recommend staying here - this was such an incredible place!!!

The house is super cute and in a nice location. Floors and kitchen were a little dirtier than we expected. Loved sitting out on the lanai and front yard watching the sunrise and the bikers/walkers go by.

Beautiful Sunrise

Our stay at Sunrise cottage was spectacular. Early morning sunrise on the porch was the most relaxing of our vacation. Centrally located in Kapa’a we had easy access to the North Shore and west to the Na Pali coastline. The cottage and properly was clean and all the amenities were provided. We loved our stay and would recommend the cottage to our friends and family. Thanks Susan and Charlie for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful Aloha Cottage

We spent a week at this delightful cottage in Kapaa. The home is so comfortable and decorated so well. The view was gorgeous. We spent hours on the front porch watching the waves roll in and seeing whales. The location is excellent being close to town, the walking/biking path and restaurants. The owners were very friendly and helpful as was their daughter/manager Jessica. Loved our visit here and hoping to come back soon!!

Amazing host and amazing house

We can’t say enough about this. Wonderful home. Great location, great hosts. Perfect for the children to run around on the lawn. Perfect for the family to go fishing across the street or the children to go to the beach across the street. There are so many words that escape me to describe our time there.

Very nice Hawaiian house in a good, central location

A very good vacation house in Kauai. All 5 family members thought the house was perfect for our needs, was centrally located in Kapa'a, was very close to the ocean and had a nice walking path. Our property manager was responsive to our needs and even offered to dry our clothes when the dryer had issues (issues solved). We would go back.

Lovely Kauai

Sunrise cottage has it all! Aside from the beautiful views and the great accommodation, its location is awesome for visiting west, south and north shores. We used the walking path daily and it was so convenient to visit eateries and sights in Kapaa. But the best part is the people and how responsive the host and property manager are when we have an issue. Thank-you for making our stay an unforgettable one. Mahola :)

We had a great time. The property, for the most part is as advertised. The people in charge of maintaining the property did an excellent job fixing a couple of small issues.The location and view are fabulous. It is strategically located to lost of places on the island.To be perfect, the lock issue at the front door should be fixed.Thanks

Perfect

These sweet cottages were perfect for our family of 8 adults. The home is well supplied with kitchen items, and all the beach items available make it easy to show up and relax. There are plenty of places around the cottage to gather and enjoy the breeze of the ocean across the street. Close enough to stores and restaurants to walk. We would definitely come back. Susan is easy to work with and is a lovely person.

Fantastic Family Vacation

Aloha Cottages is a wonderful spot for a family vacation. Both cottages are clean with comfortable beds and plenty of hot water. We that's me, my sister from the UK; my son and daughter in law from Las Vegas; and my daughter, son in law and 2 grandchildren, aged 8 and 12 from Toronto visited for a week in August and had a great time. Close to Baby Beach and the small town of Kapaa, the location of the cottages is superb. Great to stroll along the bike path to Kapaa for coffee or a smoothie. While Waimea Canyon and other tourist must sees are easily reached by car. The ever-changing view of the Pacific from the porch was amazing and one of my favourite memories is of relaxing on the porch with a book and a glass of wine, watching as two yachts skim across the water.
