Great December Stay
We got a double room— it was a comfortable size with a nice bathroom. The heating system worked well, and we could open the window for ventilation when needed. The staff at the counter were extremely professional, helpful, and kind. I didn’t stay in very many hotels during my trip, but this one was by far the best. It has an absolutely ideal location, as it’s right next to two stations and a convenience store, and is only a twelve minute walk from the main shopping mall/outdoor complex! The next tine i visit kyoto, i intend to stay here again.

A little away from Kyoto station, but close to train and bus stations and many dining options. Very comfortable bed. Would stay again when visiting Kyoto.

Great location. Easy access to multiple bus lines that stops at Shijo Omiya. Also the Randen line train to Arashiyama is located steps from the hotel. Rooms are smaller for western standards but typical for Kyoto. Clean hotel with helpful staff that spoke English. Hotel also sells bus/metro passes which makes it convenient for foreigners. Overall would definitely stay here again.
