The Space:

A two bedroom condo at Legacy Villas in a quiet location across the street from the main community pools, fitness center and clubhouse. The property offers a master bedroom with a king bed and a guest bedroom with a queen bed. The master bedroom has a private bathroom with a soaking tub and separate shower. The bedroom opens to a private patio. The guest bathroom is located across the hall from the guest bedroom and has a combined shower and tub. There is a stacked washer and dryer in a closet adjacent to the guest bathroom. The spacious living room features a gas fireplace, a flat screen TV, a queen sleeper sofa and a dining table with seating for six. The living room opens to a large patio including a dining table with seating for four. The full kitchen has a gas stove and oven, built-in microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator/freezer. There queen sleeper sofa in the living room provides sleeping for up to six. The property offers comfort and value in a great location. It can be combined with LV006 (Downstairs Studio Near the Clubhouse and Fitness Center) to create a 3 bedroom villa with 2 master suites (subject to availability).

The vacation villa is located at Legacy Villas in La Quinta. Legacy Villas is a community of 280 resort condominiums and townhomes. The community is nestled in a mountain cove on the western side of La Quinta with views of the Santa Rosa and Chocolate mountains throughout the property. Enjoy 12 saltwater pools and hot tubs, a fitness center and a community clubhouse and barbecue. Legacy Villas is a gated community with 24 hour manned security. The community is a 5-10 minute walk to La Quinta Resort and only a short drive from Old Town La Quinta, the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, the Indio Polo Grounds and numerous other desert attractions.

Weekday Getaway

The villa was gorgeous! Well, maintained and decorated. There are many additions that made our stay more exhilirating including an outside patio area that was perfect for the warm nights. The villa is nicely located in the front of the entire property with various pools a short walk away. The neighbors were quiet and the hosts were easily accessible. I highly recommend.

It was a delightful stay and everything was within walking distance to the clubhouse, pools, other apartments, etc. The apartment is as described, with no issues at all. Lovely time! Thank you very much!!

Great location but not clean

The condo is surface cleaned only and needs a deep clean. My children’s feet were completely black from walking around the floors. Windows were dirty, the air filter needs to be changed. We felt stuffy being in there.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay here, and the location is great-so close to shops, restaurants and so many things to do. Condo is also very close to the main pool, which is awesome. Bed is comfortable, too. Think it’s best for one couple, or small family, as spaces are tighter than I pictured. Kitchen is bare minimum, but we appreciated coffee pods on arrival. Quiet, pretty grounds literally right next to mountains.

We like the location of the unit. It’s located within a short walk to the main pool. The room is clean and comfortable. If you plan to cook, bring your own seasoning. There wern’t any when we stayed.

Great location and property!

This location is perfect in La Quinta and in the Legacy Villas near the main pool and workout center. The unit was not very clean and the smoke alarms were chirping, but they took care of the problems within 24 hours. There aren’t any extra blankets so my husband was cold, but we found an extra blanket in the hall closet the 3rd day. The kitchen haas the basics, enough for us to fix dinner at home most nights.

Wonderful location/property, Unit itself requires attention

The unit is well located in a great development and all went smoothly, including getting assistance with a last minute delivery from amazon that we had to re-direct and an item we left behind that is being mailed back to us. Staff were very helpful and pools / landscaping all very well maintained. The unit we were in was somewhat lacking compared to the two others we saw and could us a re-fresh. The kitchen is not set up for people who want to do a lot of cooking but it was fine for easy meals. Unfortunately, some of the interior of kitchen drawers weren't super clean and a few pots and dishes in cabinets needed to be washed before we could use them. I would say that all the "basics" were taken care of in terms of kitchen equipment but nothing extra - there was just enough plates/utensils for one meal, one bowl large enough for a family salad, one pot, one dishtowel, etc. Pantry didn't have much, a few packets of sweet and low/sugars, but no cooking oil, a tiny salt and pepper shaker, no spices/kethchup or anything like that and we had to buy olive oil and some other things which is slightly annoying. Master bed not great, has an extremely thick and squishy pillow top that was hard to get used to; sleeper sofa should be replaced. The master bedroom shower had some kind of dripping noise that we could not remedy and it went "plink plink plink" all night; and we couldn't figure out how to turn on the fan in the living room. There was no instructions of any kind in the house with respect to what to do with trash, or cleaning up/checking out instructions so we did our best. All in all we had a great time but this unit could definitely use some TLC compared to the ones that our friends were staying in.

Excellent Place. But Kitchen needs attention for cleaning

Fourth time in Legacy Villa. Outstanding weekend vacation home and value. Definitely will return. But this particular unit kitchen needs some attention for cleaning up. I found empty salt bottles inside the cabinet; cups with stain; and a few items don't belong to the kitchen sitting there. Please remove the empty salt bottles and broken phone from the kitchen drawers please. As usual, I love Legacy Villa. But a little attention to the details will improve this unit's overall impression. thanks for hosting me. V/r Arthur

lied, outdated furniture

they lied twice, before booking I contacted the property management and emailed them as well to inquire if the gym was open, and both time they said yes. When we got to the property there was a big sign on the gym door saying due to Covid 19 the gym has been closed (it was dated in June 2020). the only reason I selected this place was because of the gym being open, otherwise I would have stayed at much bigger and nice house. this was my third time staying at this location, the last time I noticed the couch and furniture is so old and nasty. As loyal guest, I requested if they could change the couch or put a blanket over it. The management agreed and confirmed that they changed the couch. to our disappointment when we got there we noticed it was the same couch and they covered it with a bedding sheet. WILL NEVER EVER STAY AT THIS PROPERTY AGAIN :(

Love the Legacy Villas

Fun condo complex with lots of pool options, central location and comfortable surroundings. Two bedroom condo worked great for family of three and small dog. Minor disappointment was lack of response from leasing company to questions regarding property both in advance and during the stay.

Not as clean as I expected during pandemic

I was not satisfied with the cleanliness of the property. When we arrived their was a chip on the counter. Thankfully I brought my own disinfect wipes to wipe the place down. There was no hand soap in the kitchen and we were given 1/4 of a bottle of cleaner and half a roll of paper towels. There are also bugs near the kitchen sink. Our air conditioning system also went out the 2nd day but fixed later in the day. The location is great close to the main pool and private pool. On Saturday the pools were packed and you had to sign up for times to use the pool area.

Great location and property. Proximity to main pool was awesome. Legacy Villa Management is struggling on social distancing as kicked out of the pool on two different days for two different reasons (Day 1 more than 30 people in the pool area so closed down entire main pool and Day 2 time limit was 2 hours only). They need a better system and more staff.

The furniture needs to be refresh. The bench in the kitchen was ripped. The kitchen cabinets are very used and the window in the kitchen was very dirty as well as the windows in the back door. (I had to clean it myself). We would leave the curtain close not to see it. Carpets are out. We also had dog food along the wall probably from the previous hosts. You need to get your own aluminum paper and plastic wrap. There was no BBQ. I have rented many places in Legacy Villas and it is my first deception
