No working hot water, knob just gurned and turned. Left used coffee filter in coffeepot. Roaches on night stand.When complained to staff, all they wanted to do was offer points or rewards to best western system which I am not part of and was told"theres nothing I can do" by front desk clerk.

This is a budget minded hotel convenient to The Villages and several nearby restaurants. The staff upon check-in and check-out was pleasant. The internet worked fine and the breakfast was basic and located in a very small space, adjacent to the front desk. The fundamental problem I had (and I won't return) was the ubiquitous marijuana stench within the room and around every corner. Everyone seemed to be smoking it and there was no escape. The room itself (with the exception of the filthy rug) seemed clean and the vanity was newer. Unfortunately, the air conditioner blew warm air 24/7 and the toilet ran every 10 minutes. You get what you pay for and I should have known this sub $100 hotel was going to be a dud. The Comfort Suites (which I also stayed at) right next door is the better overall hotel and value, all things considered.
