Lots of dogs staying here. The staff doted on our poodle! Areas outside with pickup bags and disposal were available. Dogs can't be left in the room alone but the area was so walkable that he could just go with us everywhere.

The hotel was well run with a super cozy environment with outstanding views. The staff was very friendly and responsive to our needs. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Lake Placid!

The only things I would say is the pool and hot tub area should be open a little later at least for adults. And there could be a few more options for food in the breakfast, which we did eat at a few times but not always wanting a buffet, and the dining room which we chose not to eat in because of the limited menu

The entire staff from front desk to service staff in both restaurants were exceptional. The property offers great view of Mirror Lake. The room was very clean as was the entire hotel. Many comfortable chairs throughout the hotel plus outdoor seating by the fire pit at night. We will be returning again.
