Stay was good for a 1 night quick trip, but coclraoch in the bathroom. Didnt like the cheap feel of the room being small with no bemch / table or desk to eat at. Pool was ok but the rambunctious group of highschoolers made it hard for my kids to swim age 4/6.

Top Notch Hotel

I bring my granddaughter to Lancaster every year to do a bit of school shopping. This was our first stay at AVID in Lancaster, and certainly will not be the last! The staff was courteous and well versed in their job. Everything was top notch, our room was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was delicious, offered just the right selection. And the coffee was, without a doubt, OUT OF THIS WORLD; the best hotel coffee I've ever had! Stay here with confidence.

I reserved a room at this hotel through Expedia, but the lady who checked me in signed me up as an IHG member using my phone number and email without my permission. I informed her that she should not use my personal information without my consent. She impatiently denied doing so, but she was the only one who asked for my phone number and email for the receipt.

We originally booked to stay elsewhere but, on our arrival, we were told we didn't have a reservation, and they were sold out. We happened to stumble on the AVID and we are very happy that we did. The stay was excellent, the staff were amazing, it was clean, all around a great choice. We will be staying there again when we come back to Lancaster.

Affordable with great amenities

The Hotel and the room were very nice. You can tell the room had not been used in awhile. The dust buildup was bad, the shower had dried conditioner on the wall, the bathroom sink had a layer of dust and at first our air was acting up. My husband pulled the filters out and they were filthy. After he cleaned them it worked fine. Make sure the housekeeping staff goea over that before someone checks in. The free breakfast was nice, the gym is really nice and my kids liked the pool. Would definitely stay here again.

Has breakfast but only had the bare minimum available so I was unable to eat prior to leaving for work activities for the day. The shower sprayed water out onto the bathroom floor so everything was soaked. The drain in my sink was broken so I kept needing to reach into the water to pull up the moldy drain. Room was pretty small also but is good for one person.

Great but some flaws.

We were able to book last minute due to another company falling through. The staff was great when checking in! Rooms were great. Bed was too close to wall. The breakfast buffet was not filled. The front desk girl cooked food. We saw two other staff members and could not believe that they did not help out. But overall, we’re really happy with this hotel.
