Some years ago I reviewed this property and gave it two thumbs up. Since then I see the property was sold to a new owner who obviously is not going to spend a dime on upkeep or up grades. Building itself has siding coming off, halls and walkways are in very poor dirty / stained condition. The pool is in need of a completes remodel. The rooms have gotten dingy and many are full of mold. Lots of ceiling leaks are evident. The paid help are friendly and seem to be doing what they can with what they have. Hint.. do not use Travelocity or other discount systems. The hotel will NOT honor your requests for location of room, you will go where they can fit you nomatter how long in advance you book. Breakfast is now just run of the mill. They used to tone down parties, public drinking, etc. but no more. We always stay at Red Roof so we can bring our dog but now they have a new policy that will limit pets to one floor ( out of 3 ) only at this location. I will pass on this location in the future. It is truly becoming a two star location.

Vent was hanging out of br ceiling... shower curtain didn’t stay in shower because the rod was too big ... They don’t provide simple things like shampoo ! WiFi didn’t work ,room smelled musty esp if the fan was turned on !Coffee pot was left with water in it for heaven knows how long .Guest were carrying on outside till 3am and the staff did Nothing! ... Don’t stay here !

The staff was inexperianced and was confused about the time of my stay, the manager was helpful and pleasant. The room was very small on the 3rd floor and we were tripping over each other. The television in the room was very small surprisingly so. The breakfast was good in the past and a disappointment with white toast and hard boiled eggs. The room was very clean but the air condioner

Don't stay here! My husband killed a roach running across the floor. I didn't dare eat the breakfast buffet! As we were packing up our car to leave the maid was standing there to go in and check the room at 8:30 in the morning! Not like we were leaving late! Would not honor the 15% senior discount the were advertising in the lobby because I didn't claim it on reservation. Nothing was said at reservation time.

The beds were clean, which is always my most important, but overall cleanliness was just so so. On a positive note, there was no carpet and the mattress and box spring were encased in a complete bag/cover which is good. We were given a handicapped room ( completely tiled and the shower water got all the way to the sink) which we didn’t need, but would have rather had a regular shower/room for me personally.

never again

The smell on the 3rd floor is horrible. The elevator does not work. And the gentleman at the desk is rude. He kept repeating “it’s not my problem “. The female desk clerk was helpful and not rude to us at all.
