Cosmos capsule coworking hub London offers its guests a front-desk safe, a communal living room, and a microwave in a common area. Public spaces have free WiFi.
This was an interesting and unique place to stay for a great price, I love capsule hotels - they are so cosy. I had a lot of communication from the property. It's location was excellent and close to public transport. Now for the downsides unfortunately.... First issue was the code to gain access wasn't working even though I followed the instructions from WhatsApp. I didn't arrive at the property until after midnight as I went straight to the event after arriving in London - thankfully after attempting to get in for around 10/15 mins someone who was staying there was awake and was able to let me in. Second issue the pillow was so uncomfortable I only got a couple of hours sleep despite the capsule being otherwise comfy cosy. Third was a big black hair in the bed which made me a little concerned that the bedding might not have been changed. Finally fourth is I had requested a bottom pod as I use a walking stick and would struggle... which I did. I nearly fell a couple of times and scraped my leg a bit, but I also get it it they had none spare. Saying all that I would definitely stay again should I need to stay in London again đ
I wanted to love this place - and I do certainly love the idea - but I donât think itâs been executed terribly well. The pods are not soundproofed so you can hear the front door crashing shut and shaking the building throughout the night. The air is very stuffy inside the pods but the fan system provided is very noisy. The bedding is very cheap and not at all comfortable. I honestly found it very difficult to sleep at all. The two toilets and single shower for 12 people are woefully insufficient: theyâre not in good repair and poorly designed. I feel this place has been inspired by the Japanese podhotels you hear about and then recreated on the cheap. This is sadly not serious offer for grown-ups, itâs for young students and backpackers. You can get a university dorm room for similar money if thatâs all your budget can stretch to.
I had the best time ever!
I came a bit earlier and admittedly had a bit of a larger suitcase. But the people in charge were extremely accommodating and kind and made my stay stellar.
This worked perfectly for what I needed and the internet was great and the TV inside the pod was great too.
Overall awesome stay. And I'll definitely consider this for my next stay in England
The place is very clean and the pods were good. Very easy to find and figure out.
The matress can be better. But for the price I wont complain. No main plugs inside the pods but there are usb ports to charge. But they are very fiddly and damaged. Small nudge and they get loose. Might need repairing. Overall good. Will book again in future.
You get what you pay for. Like a hostel, bare minimum. Easy to check in and out, just next to Brick Ln. For a night okay. You can hear everything, mattresses are not that comfortable, bathrooms need to be fixed, loose toilet seats, moldy, only one shower to 12 people.
Rent och lĂ€tt att checka in och ut med hjĂ€lp av instruktionerna som skickades. Allt man behövde fanns dĂ€r. Ăr vĂ€ldigt prisvĂ€rt. Det enda negativa Ă€r de nĂ„got lyhörda kapslarna samt en ganska hĂ„rd madrass
Great option for a cheap night in London. The pods were clean and spacious. You can hear people in other pods but it was quiet through the night. Overall, very good value for money for a single person.
Pros - Excellent communication from staff prior to stay as well as during, Pod was spacious and I liked that you could altar the air con to your personal needs rather than a set temp for every guest and liked that the pod gave you an added level of privacy you don't get with regular hostels.
Cons - Only 1 Shower between the 12 guests, pods can be quite noisy, you hear every time one of the other guests gets in or out of there's as very creeky. Guests extremely loud in the common room this morning talking very loudly, would benefit having a staff member on site for things like that.
