Honestly loved everything about this place! Would definitely stay there again. My most onerous complaint is the hot water knob for the sink in the hallway bathroom was hard to turn off and on. Also, had to ask a neighbor in the building where the trash bin was (in the garage).Location:Excellent location. 5 minute walk to buckingham. Was tucked away off the main streets so not a lot of street noise. Lots of foot traffic tho which was nice cuz it didn’t feel too secluded. 5-7 minute walk to the tube, 2 minute walk to a bus stop. Easy access to a main road with lots of taxis. Two grocery stores within 5 min walk. Secure - have to use fob to open door from street and to use elevatoCleanliness: very clean. The bathroom was well ventilated in the hallway which was nice cuz it’s the bathroom for 2 of the bedrooms. very minimalist with the decor in a good way - not too busy or overstimulating.Bed size was great which I would say as an American, I was concerned the beds would be too small. They were kings by American standard except for the bed in the ‘cozy corner’ as my husband called it but it was still easily a queen.Kitchen was functional and perfect and we ate all our breakfasts here which was great. Dishwasher worked. Plenty of dishware and utensils. Didn’t use any of the heating elements so can’t speak to that but ice maker worked which was the most important thing to me.There is a washer dryer but it is a single unit. So don’t go planning to run a bunch of laundry.

The unit is in an excellent location and the management company was responsive. However, there were several issues that casued a fair amount of stress. First, the apartment was relatively cold. 2 of 5 thermostats had dead batteries and did not work. We found/purchased batteries to get these thermostats working. Also, the thermostats were set at 23 to 25 degrees centigrade, but the actual temperature in the unit was 19 to 22, depending on the location.Fortunately, the unit had several space heaters that helped us from being too cold. The manager stated the heating system would be checked after we left. Apparently, we were the first visitors who needed the heat in last 6 months.Second, we were told the day we arrived the washer/dryer was "due to be replaced since it is getting quite old". They suggested we send our clothes out to be washed, rather than "dealing" with the washing machine. Given one of the main reasons we rented this unit was it had a washer/dryer, we were not happy. We tried to use the washer/dryer, but it would not dry the clothes even after I spent an hour reading the users manual. Hopefully, they replace the washer/dryer shortly.Finally, the refrigerator stopped working and a repairman was called to pull big chunks of ice from the refrigerator coils. Unfortuately we lost over 100 worth of food. We were reimbursed for the food loss and the cost of batteries for the thermostats. If the appliance issues are resolved, this is an excellent unit.

The property was in a fantastic location. It made getting around London ideal and convenient. The apartment is very spacious. With that, the apartment is very battered and used. It felt like we were in student accommodation from a cleanliness/use perspective. The furniture is very basic and not comfortable and feels cheap which is disappointing when you’re expecting a level of luxury for the price you’re paying. All of the baseboard paint is peeling off, the floors made our feet black from not being cleaned properly. The tv wires and tv cabinet was a mess and all wires are exposed and not concealed nicely. The blinds are finicky and don’t fully function with ease. Not to mention, we were not warned about the early AM construction/scaffolding right outside of one of the bedrooms. So, we were woken up early by construction literally right outside one of the bedroom windows. The washer dryer control markings are all worn off and it is very difficult to use. The host sent us contact information of the property manager who tried to help us with the washer but we were not successful. The host and staff were very helpful and responsive and we appreciated that. Overall we were disappointed with the level of interiors, design, cleanliness and comfort of the property for the price. This place feels like it needs a good upgrade and is tired from excessive rentals. I will refrain from posting photos to give the property managers some time to fix these issues for the next guest.

Great location, but poor value and disappointing amenities.

The flat is in a fantastic part of London, but the furnishings are at the level of a college apartment or secondhand shop — uncomfortable seating, mismatched pieces, and couches covered with bedspreads (likely hiding stains). One oven didn’t work, both bathroom vanity lights were out on arrival, and only one was repaired. Check-in was awkward — we had to locate a lock on a bike rack outside and use a combination to get the keys. The property is managed remotely by a host in a time zone five hours behind, which made communication slow and on-the-ground help nonexistent. Despite the listing, there was no coffee maker — only a small espresso machine. Only 2 rolls of toilet paper were provided for 4 people for our 9 night stay, so we had to go out and buy, and the combo washer/dryer had all its control markings worn off, making it impossible to choose a cycle; it also failed to dry clothes. For the high price we paid, the experience fell far short of expectations.

Great space for family trip

Great location but large enough for everyone to have their own space. Communication was thorough and always quick. Only minor complaint would be traffic noise from bikes parking just outside early every morning. Loved our stay and would def stay again!
