We booked a room without a window which I have never done before but it was a great deal and close to the tube station to get us to the o2 so we went for it. I have to say it was brilliant. Our little box room was comfortable and functional! It had everything we needed, and was clean and bright with the LED lights on. I stayed in a much more expensive hotel last week which was very disappointing so in the future I’ll be heading back here! The staff are amazing too.
Although we paid extra for a room with a window, we were given a room without a window because hotels.com described the rooms incorrectly. The rooms were too small for 2 people to stand up. After half an hour of arguing, they provided a room with a window. Don't have high expectations about cleanliness. The location was central.
I recently stayed at your property under a reservation in my name, Jo Ballard. My check in date was 27 April, checking out on 28 April.
I have never stayed at a hotel as poor as this. On arrival, we were told our room wasn't ready which is understandable. We asked to store our bags as we were in London to support someone running in the marathon and it wasn't practical to take our bags with us. We were told there was no room to store our bags which is ridiculous. I have never been to a hotel who won't agree to store bags, that is a very basic requirement from guests. In the first place), only for us to be charged for storing bags! Charging us for what?? How can you justify a charge for something that is a basic requirement. And what is the charge for?
We expected our room to be small but I requested a room with a window and paid extra for that "luxury". Not only did the window not open but it was completely frosted so it was impossible to see out of it. What is the point of having a window to them block it out?!
On check in I requested 2 extra pillows
And I was specific about the number of pillows needed and only 1 was brought up despite my clear request.
Not only did the window not open but the aircon also did not work so our room was hot and stuffy.
The shower was hot last night and barely warm this morning which is unacceptable.
On checking out, I was not
Very clean hotel and check in and out process was very quick and smooth. It could use a bar area perhaps as the dinning area was shut when I arrived so it felt a little isolating stay in my room. The room itself was cosy and bed was comfy. I would definitely stay again
