You’ve gotta give this place a try!

Beautiful historic red-brick and terracotta building adjoining parkland setting. Refurbished to a high standard both inside and out. Great friendly professional staff who made us feel very welcomed and looked after. Food and drink was excellent.

Small but Nice

The hotel was good for the most part. We were put in the loft on the third floor. The elevator does not reach the loft. In addition, the ceiling is slopped so you’re constantly ducking. It was also very hot. I would not stay here again if I knew the loft wasn’t a possibility. Otherwise, the hotel was quaint and in a great location.

Dropped of luggage early due to Wimbledon. Staff helpful and friendly. Actually checked in at 10.30pm. Different member of staff just as helpful . Room large and clean. Bathroom large and clean, however toilet seat broken and sink cracked. Room 16 right next to the lift but not a problem. Breakfast was very nice with a good choice.

Great hotel

Beautiful hotel. Very clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The hotel is really lovely, quiet, and comfortable. But it is also fairly distant from major attractions.

In my trip to the UK we stayed 2 nights here, although I now wish I had booked for a longer stay. The location was great, close to the tube, close to many cute cafes, restaurants and pubs, and walking distance to Kensington Palace and High Park. The hotel itself was really charming, and was steeped in history being a former school and the location of the D-Day planning. The restaurant, although a bit pricy was definetly worth it, for the convenience and the quality of the food and service. Overall, it's safe to say I would definetly stay there again!

Great location for what we needed, went to Queens and it was only a 10 minute walk away! Room was lovely and there was both heating and air-conditioning. I dont think they cleaned the bathroom between nights, only replacing towels and toiletries as there was still a lot of water in the shower and hairs before we used it. The shower became really slippery when on as water seemed to pool at the back. Even though its near a main road it was very quiet throughout the night. Would definitely come back if we need to be in the area.

It was a nice stay. I liked the hotel vibes. The room was spacious and clean (except for the carpets). Only 10 minutes walk to train station. It was a bit noisy. Both from neighbor rooms and outside. Other than that everything was good.

Young lady with beautiful Egyptian accent was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful. Location between two tube stations and on the #9 bus line made for ease of travel. Nice sized room with well appointed bath was a pleasure. Will return!

Perfect place for Queens Tennis, less than a 10 min walk away. Close to tube and direct line from kings cross to Hammersmith so no changing tubes lines. Lovely historic building, tasteful decor, and quiet rooms. We had a lovely dinner in the garden on our second night. Staff very helpful and attentive would recommend.

Hotel bar looked lovely, room was comfortable and was aesthetically pleasing, however the room wasn’t exactly clean. There was stains, what I believe was blood on the lamp shade and carpet (which was badly cleaned up), stains on the wall which again looked like blood. It made me question whether the bed was properly cleaned, as I saw stains on the throw too. Not pleasant really. Concerns were flagged to reception upon checkout. One thing to also mention is the bathroom shower floor is extremely slippy.

Great stay in London!

Great stay! Breakfast was amazing, and service was first class! We felt like royalty. Just a short walk from Baron’s Court Underground station, and in a fun, quaint, university neighborhood. Great history, too! Thank you for a wonderful stay…highly recommend!
