The Neighborhood:
A village type neighbourhood with restaurants, bars, pubs and coffee shops as well as a hairdresser, nail salon and massage spa. This area has everything you need.
Named after the dreamy Italian town of Maida, this enchanting corner of London is all leafy charm, waterside strolls and easy going elegance. Tucked where the Grand Union Canal meets Regent’s Canal, locals affectionately call it Little Venice, a place that feels wonderfully removed from the city, yet sits just moments from central London.
Picture white stucco villas, flower lined crescents and colourful houseboats gently bobbing along the water. Beyond its postcard perfect beauty, Maida Vale has a quietly playful spirit. Mornings are for lingering coffees by the canal, afternoons for wandering hidden streets and discovering independent cafés, while residents, from artists and designers to writers and creatives, embrace a lifestyle that feels effortlessly sophisticated without ever taking itself too seriously. It is a neighbourhood where tranquillity and character flow as naturally as the water itself.
Getting Around:
It is a 2 minute walk to Warwick Avenue underground station (on the bakerloo line) which gets you into central London in 5 minutes.
Otherwise stroll along the little Venice canal to Paddington and enjoy the boat houses and natural scenery.
In addition taxis and uber are a great way to get around in London without the hassle of parking.
