Quite good…but not as good as expected

Room was ok. Bed leaves little room to get past, for the person sleeping on the far side. Staff in bar were really good, breakfast on the rooftop was a bit slow, and one thing from the order got missed. Overall, a bit disappointing compared to the Edinburgh hotel

Had a great stay - easy to get to tube and although the area directly around the hotel looks a bit rough I still felt safe and there was much going on within an easy walk.

Loved everything about the Virgin Hotel. It has a warm welcoming feel and the staff are exceptionally helpful, friendly and professional. Rooms are lovely, super clean and well equipped. Amenities are fabulous, Hidden Grooves bar is fabulous & roof top pool a bonus. Location is brilliant, within walking distance to everything. Shoreditch is a great place to stay and I would not hesitate to return to the Virgin Hotel. Kudos to your staff they are an asset to your business.

Our stay here was amazing! The decor is made to feel like a home away from home and it did just that. Plus, the steam shower is to die for! We stayed in a two bed room and it was super spacious, which sometimes they are not. Honestly throughly recommend!

Bit disappointing

I really have mixed feelings about this place. The room was great, super comfortable and the steam shower was a great addition. However, the on site nightclub meant it was VERY noisy with people coming and going into the wee small hours and kept us awake half the night. The rooftop bar and pool was one of the main reasons we booked but I was really disappointed. The staff were incredibly standoffish and on one occasion we were ignored for over 10 minutes when booking into the pool and so we left. On another occasion it was too busy and we couldn’t get access. However if you’re looking for somewhere with staff that take forever to serve you, a DJ that blasts out music to a ridiculous volume and caters mainly for Love Island reflects who all vape in the pool, this is your kind of place. Similar experience in the ground floor bar. Very poor level of service from the staff. Shame because it not what I expected from a Virgin hotel and very different from my experience at their Edinburgh hotel , which is fabulous.

Wonderful trip - very good experinace for our puppy Mabel who had everything she needed for the stay. Great room service and the hotel was beautiful from top to bottom. Couldn’t have been a better trip - thanks Virgin Hotels!
