I don’t recommend this place

The room is clean and had an AC for heat and cold. Good shower. I’d didn’t have a fridge / microwave, only a bar with lots of drinks with the fee. I didn’t feel comfortable with the front desk service and they charged me extra $60 for 2 days just with the maintenance fee ( $30 a day ). In addition, they took a $300 deposit just in case I take something from the bar or use the kitchen in room service. I was also upset that they changed me $30 for 1 salad. This place is unreasonably expensive

It was a cool, unique, chill little property. Also is easy to park a Sprinter van. 24-hour valet to keep it secure. I would definitely stay here again.

Not worth the money.

These rooms feel like a jail cell. Dark grey cement walls. They are the size of a 15x20 storage unit. The desk outlets to the tv do not work. There’s no fridge to store personal food or drinks. I was relegated to using my sink as an ice chest. The ice machine on my floor didn’t work. $60 is amenity fees for amenities you may not even use them. $25 deposit to get and HDMI to work on the tv. Overall not worth what I paid and will not stay here or recommend it to my coworkers even though it is across the street from our offices.

As far as cleanliness and the condition of my room. the shower head was moldy and when i got there the head was loose and couldn’t adjust it so i had to tighten it so i could adjust the position of the shower head. the lever to turn on the water came off occasionally for the shower. the strings on the curtains were broken so i could only adjust the height of the curtain of one of 5 or 6 strings. As far as service, I bought a room with a view of the hills but when i checked in they changed it to a view of “the city” which was just a view of the building across from my rooms window. and all the amenities in the room cost money and not cheap. if i wanted to use 3 q-tips it would be $10US. For a “high end” expensive hotel with good ratings i’d expect cleanliness the condition of the room and service to be above par. not happy with stay

Extra charges, obnoxious incidental fees, and ridiculous fees for parking. An extra $200 just to check in.

They’ll do everything they can to squeeze more money out of you. There’s no universe where a 4 star property should have such a wack gym and a mini fridge you need to PAY to use.

Overall alright hotel, a little outdated with the rooms. I don’t like carpet in any space so that was a downside for me. The location is fine and parking is so expensive at 55$ usd a night. What was good was the cleanliness and the fast check-in.

Hip Hotel in Koreatown

Staff was helpful and considerate of my comfort and request for a quiet room because I have trouble with sleep. Light and noise especially. Bed and pillows were excellent and bathroom clean with a roomy shower. Lobby bar food during happy hour was quite expensive but only option other than expensive conservatory restaurant next to outdoor pool. They charge $30 per night for amenities. Oh well. I traveled solo for one night.

We love the location and how walkable everything is. Check in was really nice with drink vouchers and room upgrades offered for VIP status. The room has one free bottle of water in an aluminum can with lid so we could reuse for water. The room also had a robe which was a nice touch. Some room slippers would have been nice but not a deal breaker. I wasn’t impressed with the service of the bartenders or baristas in the hotel lobby. They looked like we should be grateful for their presence but honestly that’s just LA and nothing to do with the hotel. Would definitely stay again.
