The hotel is in an amazing location right in downtown LA. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was beautiful and very clean. Great experience overall I’d definitely stay here again!

Great location, walkable to many shops and restaurants. Very close to Ovation Hollywood Bowl shuttle stop at 1736 N. Orange Dr, Los Angeles CA…like a 3-5 min walk. So a great place to stay if you’re going to the Hollywood Bowl.

Room with a great view

We had an amazing time at Lowes. Customer service is the name of their game. Everyone was helpful, friendly, and caring. There was a maintenance issue in our room that was immediately remedied. I’m still dreaming about the comfortable bed and pillows that enveloped us every night. This is a great place to stay!

I have spent thousands here over the past three years only to come back to my room tonight in the middle of the night to find myself locked out of my room by hotel management with my pets still inside. They claim that when they transferred rooms for me, I spilled kitty litter on my way out and didn’t clean it up. Then when I had to speak to the front desk, they tried to say they had evidence of me smoking in the room which is a bold face lie. Now I’m on the street in LA, in the middle of the night with no where to go. Not to mention they charged me hundreds of dollars in incidentals so I can’t book a hotel elsewhere. I am really baffled by this treatment. I cannot believe this. Do not book with them. They overcharge you and will kick you out for apparently no reason. My poor pets!

The rooms are not as modern and updated as some other Loews. Dining choices inside the hotel are limited depending on time of day, but the hotel connects to a mall next door with other options. The area itself felt safe enough considering Hollywood Blvd is a mixed bag. It was highly trafficked and made it feel safe even though we did pass multiple unhoused, drug addicted and mentally ill. The hotel itself can’t control that I know and it is otherwise convenient to many attractions we were interested in. The room was a nice size, the pool was acceptable (a bit dirty/gritty on the floor) and we traveled with school aged children. Overall, we would stay there again.

Everything is nearby; you can't get any closer to downtown Hollywood. Staff was wonderful. Beds were super comfy, and the hotel has great views of Hollywood.
