We had the worst experience. We reserved months in advance, something happening at Madison all hotels per friendly were booked. When we got there to check in, we were told there was only one room available. It had the windows opened, it stank. Sheets were dirty and stained. There was dust everywhere, and the room was horrible. We took pictures and showed them to the staff as we requested clean sheets. They took our phone number, nobody has contacted us. We checked our bank account and they overcharged us. Expedia showed 150 and the hotel charged 190.

I admit I bought the non-cancelable trip but I broke my ankle about a month ago and they wouldn’t even hear me out and pushing back my reservation - we’ll be back to Madison, we’ve got people up there. Oh well. They could have at least tried.

The room was very small. The hotel looked very used. Dirty and power was out for breakfast area so coffee machine was out. The toaster didn't work. The staff was friendly but the property looked worn.

Front desk staff were very friendly. One of our beds had lipstick stains on the sheets. I'm not sure the bedding had even been changed before we arrived - seemed the beds may have been made. We found a bug crawling in the other bed (not a bed bug or roach, thankfully). When we asked for our sheets to be changed, they were only going to change the bottom sheets! Our phone was completely broken. Room felt dirty. Front desk was the best thing about the place (and that it's next to a Cracker Barrel - we opted out of eating at the hotel.

Room and property was dirty, carpets felt damp, so I was glad I brought my slippers. Dirty building entry way and super dirty windows and floors. Breakfast was meager at best. The girl working at the front desk was soo nice and accommodating. She helped us the best she could when we ran into a problem with our room. Wouldn't stay there again.

Horrible rooms, very unclean, and ac barely worked. The sheets had stains on them. The room had cracks everywhere including the tub. The cops where there 4 different occasions. Worst place and area. Will never recommend this hotel. The worst part it wasn't cheap in price!!!!!

Never again!!

Upon entering our room it smelled like a cigar bar. The bathroom sink would not drain. The hotel in general was not kept clean or kept up. I would not recommend or stay at this property again.

Kendra is the most unprofessional employee ever

Good day, I purchased my room on hotels.com on July for a 2 night stay September 19 thru September 21. At that time I paid them $245. I checked in online on the afternoon of September, in which part of the process was to enter a credit card number. I was instantly charged $1, in which I have no problem with. During the morning of September 19, I was charged $170.00. I was confused about this charge, so I called. Kendra was the lady whom answered the phone. I was put on hold, but could hear a conversation in the background. I did hear a curse word once. When she eventually got back to me, she looked it up, she told me it was payment for the room. I told her I already paid $245, and why am I now paying a total of over $400. She continued to tell me about how Microtel needed to get paid, not once being concerned about the guest. I asked to speak to the manager and she refused to get them. I did get a phone call from Kendra stating that a mistake was made, but no apologies for it. I checked in at the hotel around 845pm Friday night with no issues. The agent working the front desk was very polite, aware of the situation and advised me the charge has been reversed(as of Monday night, the $170 charge was still pending). Sunday morning I went to the front desk to get a receipt before checkout so I have documentation regarding the $170. Kendra again was being difficult to deal with. She accused me of being rude, but in my opinion she does not care about the guests. She told me
