This is an older property but the owners appear to be updating things nicely. Itâs not fancy but is a good value. Weâve stayed here twice in the last year.
It was a cheap stay. Area was so-so at best. It does look like they are remodeling/updating the place, so I'll give them that, but there's half done projects throughout the area of the hotel that I went through.
An old hotel that is being given a new life. Remodeling happening all over the site, including the entrance. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room had fresh fixtures, paint etc. Amenities were sparse but this is a budget-friendly hotel, so don't expect a lot. Walls are thin, so be prepared to hear your neighbors.
Only gave 4 đ for accommodation as there somr remodeling/updating happening HOWEVER, all is looking grand. Bravo!
Hopefully next visit your pool will be in operation.
We were NOT planning on being in a pool this o wrnight stay as we were in town to see a band 1 blk away at Crucible.
Itâs was a really nice place, and very friendly, will be back for sure, only thing was the heat was set and it was so cold and no blanket, but a great place I gave it a 10
The outside was a little shady and the security at the front door made you worry about the neighborhood. Once you got inside, the staff was behind glass. I was worried. But once you got to the room, the room was clean and nice. The climate control was a little off but we were to warm, not cold even though it was cold outside. This place is really just a place to sleep and not spend time outside the room.
The heater (A/C) made a terrible and loud noise. The bed was extremely poor and didn't even have a blanketâjust a very thin sheet. This is the worst room I have ever stayed in. (I didn't stay; I left.)
Over priced for a Badger football weekend!
Paid over $200 for a room that isn't worth $75!!!
The rooms are something I would expect from a motel in the sticks of Wisconsin, not on E. Washington in Madison. The King sized bed was being held up with something from IKEA and the bathroom had to have 20 coats of paint in the walls!
The outside of the building looks a little rundown but the inside is beautiful, clean, and smells nice. Its noisy outside but thats expected considering the area. Its just traffic noises.
