The room did not have enough light. Both the lights at the side of the bed and the lamp on the desk had very low wattage bulbs in them, it was hard to even read (!) and there was no lamp at all on the round table near the window.
The window was small, but this is usual for hotels in the UK.
The shuttle to-and-from the aeroport terminals and railway station in theory ran every 20 minutes, but in practice, was highly variable with Reception being unable to say when the next one would be leaving the hotel. I used it several times over a three-day stay, the shortest time from/to the hotel was 10 minutes, the longest 50 minutes, this being the amount of time you should allow to get to the aeroport. When comming from a terminal or train station to the hotel, it is best to call reception to let them know that you are there. To be fair, a lot of the problem was due to traffic and not the hotel's fault, and the driver's were always friendly and informative.
On the upside, the staff were helpful and friendly.
