Hotel is close to the airport but instructions on how to walk there were difficult to find. For those that want to walk you need to exit the station from the West and follow the footpath around (to the south not the north as you might think from google maps). Then cross the road.

Excellent stay at the Double Tree

A truly excellent stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Airport. From the moment I arrived, the staff demonstrated exceptional hospitality with their friendly, helpful demeanor. The signature warm chocolate chip cookie at check-in was a delightful touch – and the reception staff even treated me to an extra one! The room was immaculately presented and of high quality, perfect for my overnight business stay. The hotel's restaurant deserves special mention, serving food that exceeded my expectations in both quality and presentation. While my stay was brief, the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction was evident throughout. The convenient airport location combined with such outstanding service makes this DoubleTree an excellent choice for business travelers.
