Room was good everything needed for overnight stay. Would be nice to have charging points by bedside table. Would have like blinds on windows rather than keeping curtains closed during daytime due to neighbouring buildings.

I’m always impressed with the aesthetic of the rooms. Staff are always super friendly and helpful. The room was very clean but the only problem I had was that the bed sheet was torn at the foot of the bed and when I brought this up with the staff they offered to fix it straight away. I left them to fix the bed sheet, however upon my return, the bed sheet was still in the condition I found it in (torn). I then brought this up with the front desk who offered me a free upgrade as there was no housekeeping available at that time. I was thoroughly impressed with how they dealt with the decision. Overall I had a great stay and the Alan is my go to hotel for when I’m in Manchester. I would highly recommend it.

Some carpets need cleaning, some paint refresh is necessary. The linens, towels, product excellent. Room lighting could be better thought out. Good value for money. Breakfast could have a bit more variety and more healthier options, but was well-prepared and tasty.

Very nice hotel in a great location. Room was large and quiet, bed was extremely comfortable, staff were friendly, and everything was very clean. I didn't have time for breakfast but from a distance it looked excellent. My only criticism was that the shower was in a bath with a curtain and the shower head was very low. For such a nice hotel I'd have expected a dedicated shower cubicle. However, the shower worked and the water was hot so it's not like I suffered! Would definitely return here.

The most amazing stay

The most incredible stay. Beautiful decor and amazing location, however, what makes the Alan so special is the team. Everyone made us feel soooo welcomed and made my partner feel so special on his birthday, with a balloon in the room & a drink to celebrate. We will be back!
