Book luxury hotels in Manhattan Beach, CA

"The Biltmore is perfect for a centrally located hotel for a Dodgers game or event near the hotel. Always love the history behind this hotel. Several little things that made this stay slightly below average this time around but easily fixable with some discipline and/or efficiency. Refrigerator was unplugged on arrival and smoke detector kept beeping randomly during our stay. That being said. the room was extremely clean and sufficient for our needs. Check in was a little long winded, but corrected fairly easily. The Bar was nice enough, but gratuity automatically included. Wouldn't have been such a huge deal if the drinks AND service were meeting the basic standard in a near empty bar. Still an overall good stay. I've stayed here many times over the past decade for work and pleasure and this one was starting to feel a little sloppy. "

"I did enjoy my stay but what I love about this hotel is the bar. The bartenders are really friendly, however there was one that stick out the most and is Francis C. The drinks he made was incredible mostly the espresso martini had a great balance of alcohol and coffee. It was not over powered by alcohol, nor bitter coffee just perfect. Also, the paloma was so delicious that it felt dangerous because you didn’t taste the alcohol and not super sweet. "

"The hotel is generally good but in need of a little makeover. The staff are attentive generally. The rooms are a decent standard and quiet and the beds comfortable. Overall a good location next to all of the main Hollywood attractions. Finally the pool was decent and by and large most acted sensibly but there’s always one-boom box and drinks outside clashing with the hotels own music. If you’re 45, you’ve got a room so we did hope he would grind elsewhere and he finally did. Overall a good stay"
