Cheap, but maybe not worth it.

Pros: Clean room, LRT within a reasonable walk.
Cons: The service.
Location: There are a few places to eat on Gil Puyat Avenue, just a few minutes walk. And the LRT will get you to the mall in Ermita, about 3 stops to the Nort
The room is pretty nice with good AC and cable TV. Also has a microwave and a fridge. The room is not cleaned unless you specifically ask for it however. And often, the front desk is unattended. About a 10 minute walk to the LRT (elevated train). The taxi drivers have a hard time finding it, especially at night.
