The place was run down with paint chipping and stained carpet. Worse was it smelled like sewage. It should be torn down

This hotel smelled horrible! It smelled like dirty wet dog and stale wet cigarettes. Everything that we brought inside the hotel now reeks. There are huge stains on the carpets in the hallways as if they’ve never been cleaned. The beds in our first room were rock hard, there was a huge ugly stain in the bathroom, hair on floor, and stains on the towels. When we first arrived we didn’t get a single hello, welcome, or smile, just grumpily checked in. When I called down about the room the front desk was nicer and gave us another room that was slightly better. We should’ve left but we were too tired.

When we arrived, the desk clerk didn't greet us or smile the entire time while we were checking in. We were a 1/2 hr before check in was supposed to start and they were just finishing cleaning a room for anyone. When we arrived at the room, there was an odor, the microwave had not been cleaned, the bathroom floor was still dirty, there was no screen on the window and the locks didn't work on it. The wi-fi wouldn't connect for us and the evening desk clerk tried to reboot the router and wouldn't answer any of my son's questions when he was asking them, so we had nothing for the entire evening. There were 3 of us in the room and only 1 bath towel was left along with 2 washcloths and hand towels. When I turned the heat on, the smell was so bad that we had to turn the temp up so the air wouldn't run.
