Overall a great stay. Lots of remodeling going on right now (1/27/20) so there is some construction noise and mess in the common areas and NO hot tub at this resort. Even with the negatives right now once the construction is done I would definitely stay there again.

I like it that is right by the Ocean, but the service is terrible, specially the registration desk, the people have no idea how to treat a customer that's bring in the business for them to be able to work, they show no concern for you, and lie to us, telling us that the airport was closed, called my air line and said my flight was on time, we were stranded due to flood just the area where the hotel is located, and they have no strategy planed for this, they just say everything is close no transportation is allowed here,-:( no other options, after I find out the airport was not closed I had to figure out the way to get out. so Alex at the front door got to work, after a few dollars, walked to let us know how far we need to go to get out of the flood and catch a taxi, we finally got out got to the airport at 1:55 my flight was at 2:25 and it was on time as I said before. NOT HAPPY with the personnel, whom ever the manager is need to look in to this, I like the Hotel, but I would never stay there again due to service.

I was very satisfied with my choice in hotel. Staff was great and very polite. I even got an early check in as the room was ready when i arrived at 12:30pm. My room was awesome, clean, spacious and beautiful views of the ocean. I fell asleep and woke up to the sound of waves. Shower was big which i liked as well. WiFi was very strong no complaints. The pool was very sparkly clean and overlooked the ocean. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family and its a must that i return. Thank YOu

I like the location. Hotel is not a huge mega place which suits my tastes. I've been coming here nine years. But it is changing. Under new ownership/management. You can usually tell when a facility is not doing well monetarily when they cut back on amenities. I've always enjoyed being able to brew a cup of coffee in my room each morning. Not anymore. One day is all you get; then you have to purchase a new supply for the next day. Are they cutting back on this because of cash flow? Inside restaurant is under construction. Need new chairs for the lanai. Rooms are dated.

We loved the beautiful view from the room, everything was very clean, and the pool was lovely, if a bit cold. The food is average, and the staff could vastly improve their knowledge on tourist information - the front desk staff had no maps to hand out, no information on things to do, etc. We felt a little lost, as it was our first time in Mazatlán. The hotel would be excellent if they put some time into the tourist information side.
