I was very satisfied with my choice in hotel. Staff was great and very polite. I even got an early check in as the room was ready when i arrived at 12:30pm. My room was awesome, clean, spacious and beautiful views of the ocean. I fell asleep and woke up to the sound of waves. Shower was big which i liked as well. WiFi was very strong no complaints. The pool was very sparkly clean and overlooked the ocean. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family and its a must that i return. Thank YOu

I like the location. Hotel is not a huge mega place which suits my tastes. I've been coming here nine years. But it is changing. Under new ownership/management. You can usually tell when a facility is not doing well monetarily when they cut back on amenities. I've always enjoyed being able to brew a cup of coffee in my room each morning. Not anymore. One day is all you get; then you have to purchase a new supply for the next day. Are they cutting back on this because of cash flow? Inside restaurant is under construction. Need new chairs for the lanai. Rooms are dated.

We loved the beautiful view from the room, everything was very clean, and the pool was lovely, if a bit cold. The food is average, and the staff could vastly improve their knowledge on tourist information - the front desk staff had no maps to hand out, no information on things to do, etc. We felt a little lost, as it was our first time in Mazatlán. The hotel would be excellent if they put some time into the tourist information side.

Beautiful hotel in a wonderful location

Pros: We usually like to sleep in our hotel and go out for meals. The food was excellent and prices were so good that we ate every meal on-site except one.
Cons: Nothing. We loved everything about this hotel.
Location: It's in a very convenient location right on the beach. We would walk, jump on the bus or grab a pulmonia to take us anywhere we wanted to go.
We were scheduled to stay in a timeshare for a week in Mazatlan. Since the timeshare started on a Monday, we decided to come down two days early to get a head start on our vacation. I was nervous about booking a hotel because so many reviews are negative but I hit the jackpot with this one. Wow. What a fantastic hotel. First of all, it's beautiful and has a bit of old Mexico feel on the interior. The view of the ocean is the first thing you see when you step into the hotel lobby. The pool overlooks the ocean (a quasi infinity pool) so it's incredibly peaceful. We ate lunch under a palapa and had breakfast on the patio off the restaurant -- both had wonderful views of the ocean. This place is so peaceful and lovely if we ever go back to Mazatlan, this is where we will stay the entire time. Our timeshare was nice, but this place blew it away in terms of charm and tranquility. We slept well and awakened to a beautiful ocean view. Exactly what we wanted coming from cold and snow covered Minnesota.
