The hotel was making a few renovations but that made sense for the summer. We requested adjoining room and did not get them, the pool closed unexpectedly on our last day and the bar by the pool seemed to be closed the first few days we were there. However, the value for the price here has been great for many years. A nice hotel on the beach, with good food options, a gym, and a reliable valet cannot be beat for this price. The staff also do a great job to help when possible.

This property was clean but a little old. Beautiful views and easy access to the beach. The staff not helpful and very unfriendly. The parking is only valet and they charge $45 per night.

Hotel charged me $36 per night for a “hospitality fee” hidden within the small print, they said it was mostly a “towels fee”. Never been charged for something like that before in my life, usually you pay for the night and all is included (within reason, I understand food and drinks can be separate, I get it) Next time they will charge me for “sand leaving the are fee”, “carpet usage fee”, “glassware usage fee”, “soap usage”? I work in the hospitality industry and these charges feel just abusive and greedy, will never stay in a hotel from this chain again. Looking for other providers down the road, let’s not cave into abuse. I understand is my choice to travel and I am willing to pay, but there has to be transparency. The charge was made at the front desk as I arrived, It was not optional, felt a little abusive.
