This is a less than one star rating due to the lack of amenities and things promised. Paying for an all inclusive resort but multlpe bars and resturants on the property were not open nor available. As a Luxury guest I was informed on check in that I could eat anywhere on the property but of the only two buffet restaurants open we were turned away from one. We arrived on Saturday Oct 25 and yes Hurricane Melissa was forcasted but all al a cart resturants were closed as well as multiple bars. Alcohol was being sold as an upgrade by certain bartenders and others served everything. After the hurricane and we were stranded by cancelled flights the hotel still charged full price for the extra nights that we had to stay waiting for the airports to open back up. No discounts were given and no amenities were available.

The hotelmis dated. The maintance does not care. The phones in the did not work and sink needed to be fixed. No one ever came. I found a worker in the hallway to help with phone. Restaurants completely booked had to eat buffet. Therw is absolutely nothing around the hotel and not safe to walk.

Bahia Principe Luxury is absolutely beautiful. As soon as I stepped into the reception area it took my breath away. So so beautiful. The property is well maintained. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was excellent, friendly and very helpful. Shaunte the reservationist for the excursions was super helpful. The most friendliest people I have ever met. I would definitely recommend that anyone coming to Jamaica stay at this resort.

the room was freezing cold and with the opening of the patio doors to try and warm the room up - it became damp. The meal at Pablo - Wednesday evening was spoilt because the serving between each course was15-20 minutes and at time the Mario - did not seem to know what he was doing the aqua session was very good and circus

Our stay at this resort was extremely frustrating and far below what one would expect from a place that markets itself as “luxury.” From the very beginning, we were treated rudely by almost all of the staff. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated case: about 99% of the employees we interacted with were rude, and after speaking with other guests, we heard the same complaints. This shows that the problem is not occasional but systemic. The food was also very disappointing, completely unworthy of the price charged or the resort’s image. We tried to book tables at the on-site restaurants, but were told there was no availability for any of the days of our stay. In other words, we paid for an experience that simply did not exist. I don’t know if the staff is working under exhausting conditions (which might partially explain their lack of courtesy), but the fact is that the service was some of the worst I have ever experienced in a trip. I would definitely not recommend this resort.

I love how it was right off the water. But our flight got in that Friday morning but had to wait until almost 3 in the afternoon to go to our room. Even though we were able to eat and swim I could understand a couple hours but pretty much all day.

The working staff is wonderful. The upper staff does not give the working staff any raises or any recognition when reviews are written for them. I came to the front desk and told them the shower was leaking, I slipped and fell because of that they did not fix it until three days later. Coffee was not left in the room for three days. Water was not left in the room for two days. Mold is all around the pool edges and on the curtains in our room. No one came to check on this. This resort is going downhill and we stayed on the luxury side. What a shame I even spoke to a supervisor who did nothing about this. The owners are putting all the money in their pocket and not dispersing it to the staff what a shame. Mosquitoes were all in the room. I got bit three times and my husband was killing several. That’s ridiculous!
