The double queen room is very comfortable and large😍. Also, the coffee machine in the lobby makes lattes that taste great! It’s also very quiet. Very happy with this hotel!

Beware!!!!

First, the other bad reviews are all correct, head there warning. ALSO!!! WARNING!!!! If you do decide to stay at this dump (Not sure why after all the bad reviews) make sure you are paying the correct amount. I booked through Hotels.com. The hotel canceled my booking and rebooked it through the hotel and charged me more. Then lied to me about it. I talked to Hotels.com and they said there was nothing they could do because i booked through the hotel. I told them that, that was the problem, I didn't book through the hotel, I booked through hotels.com. they said they understand but still could do nothing. So pay attention to your bill when checking in. They will just change your booking and hotels.com will do nothing about it.

Possibly newly purchased. Room was clean but minimally appointed. No washcloths for instance. Hallway was grimy. Think the hotel caters to work crews and maybe they don’t care. Noticed security cameras operating which was comforting. Difficult to find temperature control so had to open ground floor window. Furniture worn.

Asked for a quiet room. We did get the top floor and end of hallway, however the noisiest end- as our room overlooked the roadway, and traffic was very loud. We would stay again however, and try to get the quiet side of the property. Very nice breakfast provided. Beds were comfy - room was spacious.

Very disappointed

A hole in the bathroom door from a fist. It looked like a dog had been inside of the bathroom and couldn’t get out. Because he had scratched the door almost to the other side. Something strange on the bathtub. I grew up in Skagit County. I know what the best Western used to look like. We did lots of banquets at the convention center. Very disappointed. The front door didn’t even work that’s the front door to get inside of the building. Very disappointed.

Extremely disappointing.

Property is out of the way, and shows a need for a long overdue remodel. Front desk help was efficient, and friendly enough. The rest of the hotel was run down, paint, trim, fit and finish, and HVAC were all very poor. For the small price difference between this and the next tier of hotels…very much worth staying anywhere else.

We had to reset our key both days. We had to wait for front desk help for 20 minutes as they we "away".

Likes: Great breakfast, good bed, good shower, well lit hallways that were nice and wide, the room was spacious. Unacceptable: Microwave plug didn't reach outlet & was disconnected - Drapes were broken and hanging awry - No informational literature about the hotel or community - Dirty mirrors - The little shampoo and conditioner bottles were nearly empty - No hair dryer (got one at the front desk) - Only one hand towel - No chair for the desk work station. We were there for 2 nights and apparently guests have to request maid service - we never received any service or even saw any housekeeping staff. Note: Upon arrival and inspection of the room, we notified the front desk staff of these issues and were assured they would be taken care of promptly. They did get us a chair for the desk and supplied my wife with a hair dryer (she had to go get it from them). Other than those 2 items, none of the other issues were taken care of and in fact NOBODY EVER FOLLOWED UP OR CONTACTED US. The highest form of insult is to be ignored. The irony of this is this property is located adjacent to the Skagit Valley Convention Center. We felt some adjustment should have been made to our bill but the front desk person had a sign on the counter indicating they were not available and would be back at some point in time. They may come back but we certainly wont. Wyndham gets a black eye on this one. Incidentally, my wife & myself were both hotel GM's before retiring.
