To say that we “stayed” here would be a lie. We stayed only long enough to find and book another place to stay. I have stayed in some places that I wouldn’t go back to, but I have never posted a review for anything, let alone a negative review, but this experience was so awful, I can’t not say something. We arrived after dark so couldn’t really see how it looked outside, but I can say that the photo shown in the listing is not the same building. Immediately upon arrival my family began complaining about the smell of urine throughout the lobby. I thought they were being difficult so we checked in. What we found in our room was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced anywhere, let alone a well known chain hotel. The smell upon entry was overwhelming, and not in a good way. The kitchenette cabinets and counter were covered in greasy handprints, the curtains were filthy and torn, there was something on the wall between the beds that my husband is convinced was blood, the walls were so gross I couldn’t stand to look at them and the toilet was dirty and not well attached to the floor. We tried to convince ourselves we could do it for one night but the thought of getting in the bed was it for me. We booked a room down the street and accepted that we likely wouldn’t get our money back. I couldn’t care less. I don’t think of myself as high maintenance, but this was unbelievable. Do not stay here.
