Shugs Shack Beach and Inlet Vacation getaway

This first floor unit is pet friendly. Pet fee of $100.00 ( We allow 2 dogs) The view from my dream home is incredibly beautiful.(We live upstairs in a separate unit.) With the sound of the ocean echoing over the Inlet in the still of the evening makes my humble abode a dream place to visit. With so many choices of things to do year round! Our place resides on the Waccamaw Neck bike way, which is over18 miles of paved multiple purpose trail used for walking, cycling and hiking. We are walking distances to restaurants, kayaking, paddle boarding, boating , fishing swimming etc.

Perfect location for the Brookgreen Gardens Festival of a thousand candles.While bedding was so comfy, there was no amenities for the shower which was disappointing for the price point of the stay. Luckily a quick stop at a nearby grocery store provided the requisite shampoo and soap.The Keurig was an added bonus as it was a newer extremely fast model. The layout was perfect with the sitting room totally separate from the bedroom!

The unit was very clean. Clean Towels provided; clean linens on the bed. Coffee and filtered water provided. Just some things to know before you rent here: To get to the parking for this unit, you need to go to the next 'driveway/street' and turn left. Bed is 39" off the floor!

Very nice property. Close to many restaurants, shopping and more. Definitely recommend this property for couples! Owner was very nice and checked in a couple of times to see if we needed anything. Her dogs made our trip even better!!

Wonderful!! We so enjoyed our stay with Shug! We felt so welcome and comfortable here, the place is very cutely decorated, clean and spacious, it’s exactly as described. Covered patio was perfect for our dog, and the fenced in yard was great so he could be off leash! Great location. The bed is SO comfortable. We can’t wait to return!

A piece of Heaven on Earth!

Shug and Mack were awesome hosts. We had everything we needed and more! The VRBO was incredibly comfortable and as a plus is decorated with many pieces of art made by Shug and other local artists.

Great place to wind down.

A beautiful property, close to restaurants and beaches. It was so beautiful and very pet friendly with the owner’s two friendly dogs being so welcoming also. We only stayed two short nights on our trip from Michigan to Florida. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Very pleasant stay

The property was very clean and well kept. Listing was accurate for the most part, altho we never saw the washer and dryer. The parking was sometimes tight for our truck when 2 vehicles were already there along with a pontoon boat. We were aware of talking and walking upstairs, although it truly didn't bother us. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. us.
