The hotel is clean, the bed was comfortable and while it's not a traditional Chain Hotel I was pleasantly surprised. It was graduation weekend And it was convenient to the University.

There are signs everywhere for no smoking or the fire alarm will go off, close the shower door or the fire alarm will go off. I got in at 3am and someone set off the fire alarm at 8:30am. I'd say the hotel should fix these issues before I stay there again. I'd like my money back!!!

Once able to “sign in”.. contactless place fine!

Difficulty signing in because the office was closed and I had to stand right outside the office door to get an Internet connection in order to register and receive my room number and access code. Once I was in, the room was very nice, kind of modern, clean and the bed was very comfortable! I did not like that the tv requires you to sign in to use your own Netflix account and password to watch… but it had Sling TV. Went out to eat at a local diner and upon returning put my “take out” and drinks in the shared lounge where they have an ice machine and refrigerator. No fridge or microwave in room. That was fine.. however, I did not realize that the shared refridgerator was not even turned on! All in all the “contactless” experience was new for me but it worked out fine and I would recommend and try it again!

The Hi-Ho is a lovely boutique hotel. I was lucky to be in a room that is not on the side of the Merritt Parkway, so it was a quiet night. While it is an easy on and off to parkway, there is nothing within the immediate area around the hotel for food or drink, unless you want to go to the wine bar. The room was very clean and comfortable.
