Slidell hotel

Lots of hot water. Bathroom fan did not work, so mildew smell. Comfortable bed. Good coffee. Friendly staff. Adequate breakfast offered: sausage biscuit,make your own waffle, cereals and yogurt,fruit and juices.

There was unusual confusion at check in that had us going back and forth between two hotels, with bad information given from this hotel's auditor. After finally getting checked in, we went to our rooms. Dark, gloomy place. Soft spots throughout the hallways that felt like my feet would go right through them. Terrible water pressure for the toilets: I had to hold the lever for 5 seconds every time I want to flush! Every time! The second room couldn't use the tub/shower because the water was red/brown and wouldn't clear up. Strobing lights in their bathroom gave headaches. Definitely would not stay here again, or recommend it to anybody.

Was a decent stay for an over night stop. Did not feel unsafe but the area was secluded. Hotel was not most up to date but suited our needs for an overnight stop

Carpets in room were dirty. There were crushed up mints or pills in several areas around the beds. The desk lamp and/or outlet wasn’t working. Burnt out lightbulbs in the room and bathroom made the space feel very dark. TV remote has issues. Sometimes there would be static noise from the TV as well which was frustrating. Parking easy. Staff friendly.
