Great Hotel near many memorable attractions! I did ask to not be put near elevator but they booked our room right across from elevator! I also wanted water in my room but they didn’t! I also booked thru Travelocity with a great price but had to pay another $40 of fees..overall a great Hotel

This property is the perfect location for anyone attending events at Madison Square Garden. Our room size was generous and the daily happy hour is a plus! The bathroom was very small, usable outlets were limited & there is a lot of street noise (making a good nights sleep more of a challenge) however; I would not rule out staying here again.

I considererd this as they stealing money from the guest. We checked in 5PM and checking out the next day at 11Pm. For less than 24 hours, they charge us Facility Fee in which we only sleep in the room and never use there facility except the room that we already paid.

The bed was comfortable, but hotel terribly misrepresented thru it’s pictures online and HORRIBLY noisy. We slept terribly and that really took away a lot of the enjoyment of our trip. It’s located RIGHT beside the hook and ladder 24 station. I understand it’s a very old building, but maybe not suitable for a hotel. Our room was nasty. Carpet stained and coming up, an actual hole in the carpet, ac in main room broken and knob on standing floor lamp completely broken off. Room smelled icky. Just felt dirty staying there and was so happy to leave!!!!

I'm sorry I didn't get the names of the staff because they were all so nice. They remembered my mother's birthday and sent chocolate covered strawberries and wine to our room. We had to ask where we could buy a curling iron and they directed us to the store. Much later in the day when we came back to the room, a staff member asked if we found it. He remembered us from that morning! It's little things like that (in a BIG city) that make you feel special.

The only thing that I can say is it's close to midtown, but I would recommend staying elsewhere. I was in NY for a family reunion and chose to stay here because my relatives from Italy were. Besides the fact that the room was tiny and the maid left me 4 bath towels and no washcloths or bath mat, the check-in was horrible. She never told me about the $35 a day charge for "a resort fee." Which apparently meant using their phone, their gym, and their Wi-Fi--all of which I never used, so the hotel made $70 off of me. Also, she never mentioned the times for breakfast, the time for checkout, etc. So many other choices to stay in midtown. I don't recommend this hotel at all.

The air conditioner did not work. It was so hot in the room. We called and the engineer came to fix it 4x until he finally replaced it on our last night.

This hotel worked well for my family. Beds were comfortable and the place was clean. I was close to everything we wanted to do!
