The staff at all levels were terrific, very positive and lots of energy. The rooms were great, we had a Cathedral ceiling, 2nd floor room facing the mountains. The food at the Prov is very good if you don’t want to go downtown every night. The Roam by service was on time, clean and every 20 min. We will stay here again.

Upon check-in I was surprised to find they had upgraded our room, that's never happened to me before. Thank you!! I appreciated that when we entered the room the lights were already on low, no fumbling for the light switches. The wood burning fireplace was so nice to have and was used every night :-) The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. My only wish would be that there was more light available in the main area. Ei: lights/ sconces around the wall mirror, so that when someone is in the bathroom the other person can actually "see" to get ready by that mirror. I also appreciated the food credit that was available with the booking :-)

Check-in process was easy, staff were friendly, and directions to the room were easy to follow. The room was very nice, with a large washroom, a clawfoot bathtub and shower, and great shampoo and conditioner. The room was a nice size with a fireplace; wood and a fire starter package were left in the room. Nepresson is in the room. Lovely view. Very comfortable beds and pillows. The only feedback I have although it won't deter me from staying here again is that the towels are not soft, it would be nice to have complimentary water for the coffee machine, our door kept blowing open (so need to be careful to really push it closed and use the deadbolt), and we could hear the people above us walking around and sliding things on the floor. Next time I return I would stay on the top floor to avoid hearing the noise. Overall, I really liked the stay and would definitely recommend it. I would likely just book the same place upon return and not even bother to look for anything else in Banff as this was afforable, super cute, and a nice experience. If you are reading this review to decide whether to book, go ahead and take the premium room if you can.

The room was very clean and the staff went out of their way to address all of our requests. The windows however do not open easily, if you need fresh air. Would recommend this hotel. The main lodge is lovely for breakfast and dining etc
