Not a hotel to stay at in the winter...

Pros: In summer: each suite has a balcony with table/chairs, both doors from your suite go outside - pet friendly - excellent staff - underground parking
Cons: Rethink the bedding situation. On your website: Better communicate about the top three floors having no direct access to the interior of the hotel.
Location: Close to downtown shopping/eating.
If we stayed at the hotel in the summer, it would be amazing. However, we stayed here in January. - Only the first floor is indoors. If your room is on the second, third, or fourth floors, you have get dressed for the weather and take a hike outside on a catwalk in order to get to: the lobby, the pool, the hot tub, the restaurant, the vending machines, or the ice machine. We did not find this stated in any of my searches that only the first floor was indoors, which took us by surprise. One would assume that when you exit your room in a hotel, it goes into an indoor hallway. No more assuming for us. - The lounge is right beside the front doors. It is a very open concept hotel and it looks very nice. However, the design of this is better suited to a warmer climate like California. Having to wear jackets to eat and drink is not exactly relaxing. - The hot tub and pool were very nice. - The staff was absolutely excellent. - There was a memory foam bed for our dog and the staff were very friendly to him. - Bedding: there was one loose sheet (not fitted) on the mattress. On top of that was another loose sheet, then a duvet, then another loose sheet. Two loose sheets acting as a duvet cover...Needless to say, we were constantly fumbling around trying to decipher what sheet was what. Not a great idea for bedding. - Underground parking was great because it was cold outside.

I really liked the rustic feel of the place. We sat in the courtyard and on our little porch on several occasions and found it to be very relaxing. It was also located near to downtown which we liked.

We had a one bedroom suite and it was just perfect. Nice separate bedroom with comfortable living room and two tv's and a kitchenette. The proximity to town was wonderful for walking in for dinner, etc.

New modern hotel near town center

Pros: Location, new hotel
Cons: The lighting in the business center is awful. And the entrances to parking below are very tight.
Location: Easy walk to town center.
Two night stay in a new hotel, last minute reservation so the rates were high. Queen suite with small but comfortable parlor, two queen beds in quite small bedroom. Very nice bedding. Very clean rooms. Didn't use FB outlets. Parking under hotel with lots of space. Quite surprised about how little the friendly front office staff knew about tourist activities - like they didn't know that tours of the Banff Springs hotel are for guests only. New help but they really need a concierge. I would recommend this hotel plus advise to look at other properties too.
