Room and bathrooms very clean. Staff were very helpful at front desk. Overall very happy with our stay, can’t beat the location, being walkable to shops etc. only down side, Water in the hot tub looked a bit cloudy, put me off from going in it. The floors not as clean as I’d like.

We travel to Banff regularly, and were very excited for our first stay at The Moose. The primary reason we choose The Moose on this trip was for the rooftop hot tubs, sauna, and mountain views. It was disappointing to go up for our first soak to realize only one tub was open, and the other and the sauna were completely blocked off, also obstructing the view. Nowhere on the website, nor during the booking or check in process was this mentioned. With this being one of the primary amenities of this hotel, and main reason we choose it, this was really disappointing. The rooms were fine, but a bit dated. We really appreciated the Rocky Mountain Soap Co amenities. However, the thermostat did not have an option to keep the room a steady temperature, which was odd. We also had a few burnt out light bulbs in our room, and the in-room coffee option was very dated. For a 4-star hotel with prices to match, we found our stay underwhelming and likely would not book here again. We have been loyal customers of another high end hotel in Banff for years now, and this stay solidified that choice for us.

The lounge with fireplace had a lot of seating and was very inviting. We upgraded from a 1 bedroom double queen suite as the living area was too small for 2 adults and 2 older children. The 2 bedroom was very spacious. All the amenities in the bathroom from local Rocky Mountain soap/shampoo/condition, and extra towels was lovely. The kitchenette was fully stocked. The beds were extremely comfortable as were the pillows. A working gas Fireplace and Huge balcony with a Mountain View made this experience perfect. We also appreciated the underground parking and bigger than usual spaces. Tiana, a front desk member was exceptional. We also ate dinner at the hotel restaurant, Pancini and that was a lovely experience. Thank you for making my husbands 50th birthday experience a great one.

Hotel was excellent. So well located (just a couple of mins walk into the town centre), the hot tub was a highlight with views over the mountains. It was a shame about building work happening because it blocked some of the view, but once that is over it will be great up there!

We absolutely LOVE the Moose. The location, the rooms, the robes, the skin care products, the people. The larger hot tub on the roof was closed during our visit and the containment blocks some of the view (I wish they had boarded it up but… lower, but who knows what’s behind that barrier). They were very apologetic and we really enjoyed the hot tub that was open, the pool, and the fire pit.
